Zotac Magnus EN1060 review

These days, a PC no longer has to be big in order to be powerful. Want the proof? Look no further than Zotac’s ZBox Magnus EN1060.

yllzkqd7ngy9b9rvcneprf-650-80

Inside of its unassuming, desk- and entertainment center-friendly chassis are some serious components, like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 chip and an Intel Core i5 quad-core processor. In plain speak, it’s got enough gusto to power the latest games, even if they’re funneled through a high-end virtual reality headset, like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive.

But of course, power costs money – even more so when it’s consolidated into such a small footprint. Zotac’s mini PC will set you back $999 (£980). Here’s the catch: this particular model is a barebones PC that doesn’t include a hard drive, RAM or an operating system. You’ll have to foot the bill for those.

2017 BMW M6 GTLM Art Car Review

Art cars are always fun, especially when an automaker makes it annual habit to introduce one. Over the past few years, BMW has done just that, releasing some colorful pieces like Andy Reiben’s 3 Series “Fluidum” from 2013 and Jeff Koons’ M3 GT2 from 2010. The latter even participated in that year’s staging of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, adding another layer of lore to the German automaker’s yearly tradition. 2016 now sees the continuation of that tradition with the introduction of the M6 GTLM Art Car, designed by no less than John Baldessari, the world renowned, 85-year old American conceptual artist, who is famous for his minimalistic approach toward art that combines colors, shapes, and texts.

It’s no surprise then that Baldessari’s interpretation of the M6 GTLM Art Car includes these elements. It is surprising though that for all of his years in the art game, Baldessari, by his own admission, had only done one project that involves a car, and that was just a two-dimensional image of car. Tasked with working on an actual car – and a big one at that with the M6 GTLM racer – Baldessari took on the challenge of creating a piece that showcased the car’s status as an “icon of contemporary life” while also infusing his own trademark ideas.

Asus MB169C+ review

Having more than one monitor is a boon for productivity, and it’s usually easy to get hold of a second panel if you’re working from home or the office. On the move, however, you can’t exactly chuck your favorite 4K-resolution stunner into a backpack. For that reason, mobile workers have long felt the paint of having to revert back to using a single display.

Portable monitors are one solution to the conundrum, but devices in its category so far have been dogged by issues such as high input latency, poor viewing angles and washed out displays. Asus is looking to change that with the MB169C+, which follows on from its previous portable monitor, the MB168B+.

The company’s newest offering boasts a 15-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1080) display and uses the newer USB Type-C connectivity standard, rather than USB-A like the MB168B+ – and it’s convenient to boot.

Mercedes-AMG E63 first drive: The luxe lunatic

There are only handful of car buyers in this world that require their daily drive to develop 604bhp, pack the latest semi-autonomous driving functionality and boast enough room inside for four business associates.

It’s a dilemma that most of us normal folk will never have to deal with, but what if you have a spare £85,000 burning a hole in your pocket and want the performance without compromising on practicality?

Well, you’re in luck, because BMW is readying its potent new M5, while Mercedes has just unleashed this: the new E63 AMG. Capable of tearing up the world’s most arduous race circuits before wafting its occupants in the lap of luxury to their intended destination, it’s one serious beast.

2018 Audi TT RS First Drive

Get ready for trouble: the 2018 Audi TT RS is most definitely going to stir up some problems among the new Porsche Cayman S, Mustang GT350, Corvette Stingray, and BMW M2. Having driven all five of these road-legal racers, I have no doubts that the TT RS will hold against its best German and American rivals. It’s a fast car that happens to look great, excelling on the track while still delivering all the creature comforts you’d want in a daily driver.

Audi invited me out to Madrid to experience the second-generation TT RS, coincidentally enough in the south of Spain near where the late model TT was launched two years ago.Track day with the TTS was certainly fun, but the TT RS’ performance hit a whole other level. How so? It starts off with an exhaust note like nothing I’ve ever heard before – to borrow a perfect description from Audi’s Mark Dahnke “it’s out of this world sounding” – and which I can confidently say is one of the best engine soundtracks your ears could hope for. Happily Audi’s engineers weren’t feeling coy about it either, and as such its burbling is unadulterated and piped directly into the cabin for your listening pleasure.

Vernee Mars Review : Big Little

Vernee is a new smartphone brand that has made a name for itself fairly quickly in the ultra competitive mobile scene. Their first phone, the Vernee Thor, was and is still one of my favourite phones to hold in the hand and was priced extremely competitively. The Vernee Apollo Lite was the first device to use the Helio X20 processor and even then was priced fiercely as well.

The Vernee Mars is this fledging company’s third phone, and this midrange phone is priced a lot less aggressively than the first two phones.

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Vernee Mars

Starting at $200 during the presale period and rising to $250 after, this 5.5″ phone combines the midrange Helio P10 chip with 4GB of RAM for a respectable spec sheet. However, in a pure specs to price battle, it’s bigger brother (the Apollo Lite) handily beats the Mars and is trounced soundly by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

2017 Triumph Street Cup Review

Triumph expands its Bonneville Street Twin  family a bit to include the all-new-for-2017 Street Cup. The SC brings the cafe’-tastic vibe of the Thruxton to a smaller engine bracket with a 900 cc mill, thus opening up the club-racing world to entry-level riders and offering experienced riders the option of downsizing for convenience without giving up too much in the way of fun.

Sporty and quick, this ride seems to be everything one would expect from a contemporary cafe’ racer , but the market is currently awash with cafe’ bikes and it seems that everyone is jockeying for a piece of that action. Triumph might even be taking a little wind out of its own sails (sales?) by offering another CR, but price and displacement are different enough to appeal to different buyers. That said, I want to take a look and see what Trumpet has done to make this oddly named bike attractive to buyers in this well-populated niche.

Xiaomi MI MIX VS OPPO R9S Smartphone Camera Review – Who is the Real Winner?

Recently, full-screen concept smartphone is quite popular, especially Xiaomi MI MIX, which has unveiled the hot era about this kind of tendency, however, the other vocabulary, ‘Shooter Phone’ is also popular, such as OPPO R9S with customized sensor, big aperture, dual camera, etc. Therefore, Xiaomi MI MIX and OPPO R9S have become the hot topic for most media. Today we will compare the camera of Xiaomi MI MIX and OPPO R9S to know which one is a real winner.

First, let’s check the hardware, OPPO R9S is built in 16MP back camera with Sony IMX398 sensor, big F/1.7 aperture and 6P lens, it has 16MP front camera, too. But Xiaomi MI MIX has 16MP Back camera with OV16880 sensor from OmniVision in USA, 1/3.06 inch, F/2.0 aperture, it uses 5MP front camera. In terms of hardware, OPPO R9S will win without any doubt. So this time we compare the back camera with 16MP on both smartphone to see whether there is any difference between two different camera sensors?

Xiaomi Mi 5s Review : One Step Forward, One Step Back

The rhetoric you usually see when a mainstream publication reviews a Xiaomi phone is how astonishingly good it is considering the price. But here at GizChina, we specialize in devices like these, and prices like $300 isn’t any cause for applause.

In fact, many in our audience balk at the thought of spending over $300 on a phone when devices like the Lenovo Z2 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 exist. However, I’m going to show you… nay, prove to you, that the Mi 5s is still a worthy contender for your hard earned dollar.

xiaomi-mi5s-review-1

One step forward, one step back. Sure, the Mi 5s is a a rather uninteresting but expected upgrade to the Mi 5, but its still a great device. Xiaomi has predictably upgraded the processor from the Snapdragon 820 to the more power-efficient Snapdragon 821 and the newest camera sensor Sony has to offer.

Samsung UN55KU6600 Curved 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model) Review

The Samsung UN55KU6600 line of curved 4K HDTV combines excellent picture quality with a broad feature set that will remain relevant for a few years to come. In fact, it is an excellent way to jump into 4K with style without spending a whole lot of money.

Samsung has held its own about curved HDTVs, but most of us have remained skeptical. Fortunately, the Samsung UN55KU6600 (6 Series) proves that Samsung can make an excellent display with little consideration on the shape. This ultra-high-definition (4K) has all the enthusiast-level television features that you’d expect of a set of its caliber. Talk of impressive contrast, accurate color, and a collection of features you’d need on a daily basis from an HDTV. It isn’t the best HDTV we’ve seen in its class, with competitors like our Editors’ Choice Vizio M65-C2 offering advanced features and thin bezels in their displays, but the Samsung UN55KU6600 still remains a top contender. That said, it suffices as a stylish, attractive way to move up to 4K without the distracting light bloom on flat panels — as the KU6600 sports a curved display.

YI M1 review – New kid on the block

YI is a China-based company that has already made its mark in the action cam market, earning a recommendation in our recent roundup. But it clearly has ambitions beyond this and has announced its entry into the consumer-level compact ILC market.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on the YI M1, the company’s first-ever mirrorless camera. YI has attempted to capitalize on an already well-established camera mount, but decided to put a new spin on it in the form of an almost entirely touchscreen-based user interface.

YI tells us its name refers to ‘young innovators,’ so its no surprise its target demographic is a group that is looking to move on from their smart phone based camera, but perhaps isn’t ready or interested in, taking the plunge into the realm of a traditional DSLR or mirrorless platform.

The YI M1 features an all-metal lens mount and a 20MP CMOS sensor.

2017 Zero Motorcycles S / SR Review

Riding the tailwinds of waxing public interest and expanding infrastructure, Zero Motorcycles The Cause with new improvements and adjustments to its street-centric “S” and “SR” models. This year sees the addition of a more powerful motor that generates increased torque and horsepower as well as a smaller battery pack for short urban trips; all good stuff for increased fun and flexibility, necessary factors if the company wants to further its push into the mainstream.

While these changes will likely benefit Zero, I submit that at this stage in the game, anything that increases the appeal and feasibility of electric transportation is good for electric vehicles in general with a direct, positive impact on the environment. In other words, a victory for Zero is a victory for all, so join me while I check out what the company is doing to fight for the progression of the electric agenda.

ASUS FX502VM Gaming Laptop Review

It may not have the absolute top gaming chops and benchmark scores, but the ASUS FX502VM is a competitive midrange gaming laptop that outclasses its rivals on features and design, while costing far much less than much of the competition.

Kết quả hình ảnh cho ASUS FX502VM Gaming Laptop Review

How can a midrange gaming laptop like the ASUS FX502VM-AH51 beat the competition without necessarily dominating the obvious gaming benchmark tests? By remaining competitive, while coming in for far much less, and eschewing competitors on a feature-by-feature basis. That’s how. The FX502VM comes with a sixth-generation Intel Core i5-6300HQ processor and the latest Pascal-based Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB discrete graphics. To that, it adds 16GB of memory, a 1TB storage hard drive, a 15.6-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) display, and ergonomic features that make gaming more comfortable. The fact that it packs so much and still comes in at a reasonable price, gives it the oomph to jump to the top of the heap, replacing the ASUS K501UW-AB78, as our latest Editors’ Top pick for midrange gaming laptops.

2016 Mercedes G-Class G-Cross Review

The Mercedes G-Class’ appeal is undeniable, even if it caters to a specific clientele. Let’s face it; it’s the onlyMercedes model that flies against the company’s existing design language with a utilitarian look that hits off well with the same people who enjoy models like theJeep Wrangler and the Land Rover Defender. But the G-Class’ appeal also extends to the tuning world where a handful of aftermarket companies have developed kits specifically for the off-road conquering SUV. Most of these kits revolve around the AMG G63, but every so often, a tuner comes by with a kit specifically for “lesser” variants of the G-Class. Here then is Hofele Design, one of the most renowned German tuners in the business, and it’s presenting the “G-Cross,” a tuning program for the G-Class with an extra engine tune specifically for the G350 Diesel variant.

B&O Play’s H9 headphones are svelte Scandanavian beauties, providing supreme comfort, cool tech, and strong performance.

Headphones, over-ear models in particular, increasingly seem to have a style suitable only for DJs, with crazy colors and space-age designs. That’s fine, but not if you want something effortlessly stylish that works in all situations, and with every outfit — there’s nothing that stylish about plastic earcups and massive logos. Step forward B&O Play, which leverages classic Scandinavian design brilliance with superb sound quality. Its latest model is the H9, which brings together many of the features and technology seen in other B&O Play models, this time in an over-ear Bluetooth headphone complete with active noise cancelation.

2018 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS Review

First introduced in 1996 as the company’s entry-levelsports car, the Porsche Boxster is now in its third generation, which was launched in 2012. Redesigned to include styling cues from the 911 and 918 Spyder, the third-gen Boxster also received a new, more rigid chassis, revised engine, and a small weight reduction compared to its predecessor. The engine lineup included three flat-six units at first, but this changed in 2016 when a comprehensive facelift replaced them with smaller, turbocharged flat-four powerplants. The update also brought a new name, with the “718” denomination added to the “Boxster” badge as a tribute to Porsche iconic race car from the late 1950s.

With both the base model and the higher-performance S version already in showrooms, Porsche has two more variants to launch before the fourth-generation car steps in to replace the current one. The models in question are the GTS and the Spyder, and the former has already been spotted testing on public roads.

2017 Kawasaki Versys X-300 Review

Kawasaki enters the 2017 model year with an eye toward the small-displacement market, and the all-new Versys-X 300 is its weapon of choice for this new front. The “X” joins the rest of the adventure-bike lineup with the characteristic family flylines atop unique features all its own.

This bike is a sign that the adventure-bike segment is maturing. First there was the race to the top with ever larger displacements getting shoehorned in, and now the race to the bottom is underway to garner the entry-level crowd as well as the folks who prefer small-displacement machines. Since the entry-level riders are important for the cultivation of brand loyalty, and the multitudes of “Others” have their own reasons for keeping things small, this bike is an important step to fill out the potential of the class.

Living with the Apple Watch Nike+ : A strong sports-focussed smartwatch that we’ve already outgrown

MSI Prestige PX60 6QE Quick look Review – blending the gaming and business worlds into one

Basically, the MSI PX60 is a rebranded GS60 but with a different paint job to better suit business-oriented customers but don’t get fooled by the looks, though. The notebook still packs quite the powerful hardware suitable not only for multimedia but for gaming as well. The device has almost everything in stored for your working and entertainment.

Design

In terms of design, the chassis is fairly similar to the GS60 but as we said earlier, it uses different color scheme. With metallic gray on top of the brushed aluminum, it will appear to the more strict business design, although its weight isn’t exactly suitable for this purpose – 2.1 kg. We do have to give credit to the 20.05 mm thick profile, though, as it makes the notebook fairly portable without missing on all the essential ports. In fact, the laptop offers more than you can ask for at this price point in this regard and even distributes all the connectors evenly on both sides.

2017 Rezvani Beast Alpha Review

The Rezvani Beast came to be in 2014, less than a year after Rezvani Motors was established in 2014. Developed as a street-legal race car, the Beast is based on the British-made Ariel Atom, using not only its lightweight chassis, but Honda Racing engine too. Much like any carmaker focused on track-ready, limited-production cars, Rezvani focuses on creating various versions of its original sports car rather than developing new products. The initial Beast was followed by a Speedster version in 2016, while the 2017 model year brought the Beast X, Rezvani’s quickest and most powerful vehicle to date. At the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, Rezvani unveiled yet another variant of the Beast, called the Alpha.

Although much of the styling is identical to any other Beast we’ve seen so far, there are two very important features that set the Alpha apart. First, it has a targa-style roof. Granted, it’s removable and turns the car into a proper roadster, but when in place, it provides the comfort of a regular coupe, as well as better aerodynamics.
