Go-tcha Review for Pokemon GO [Auto Update Auto-Catch Time!]

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Go-tcha

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been using a Go-tcha Wristband for Pokemon GO. This Pokemon GO Gotcha (or however you want to write it) is essentially a Pokemon GO Plus with its button held down. It comes from the folks at Codejunkies, a group who specialize in the sort of devices that are akin to a modern-day Nintendo Game Genie. Cheaters without cheating, winning games because they’re very good at backwards engineering.

*Auto-attempts at Pokemon capture unfold the same way they’re attempted with a Pokemon GO Plus – sort of. This means that one single Pokeball is tossed at whatever Pokemon the game sees as in-range of the user. If the Pokeball misses or the Pokemon escapes, the Pokemon then runs. If the user is out of standard Pokeballs, the device moves on to the next tier of Pokeballs – Great Balls, then Ultra Balls.

808 Audio CANZ Glo portable wireless speaker mini Review

Back during CES, 808 Audio introduced a bunch of new speakers boasting features like strong bass and a rugged design. We recently got our hands on one these speakers, the CANZ Glo. Unlike the models intended for use in harsh environments, the CANZ Glo are designed for your portable partying needs. This small cylindrical speaker features an outer metal grille and an inter white plastic that, when activated, glows various bright colors with different rhythms and speeds.

Lighting Effects & Control

The CANZ Glo is part of 808 Audio’s CANZ Bluetooth speaker series, though with a unique twist: inside the metal cabinet is a glowing light component that toggles between colors like yellow, orange, green, red, blue, purple, and more. Users are given a decent amount of control over the colors thanks to “mode” and “color” buttons. Press the mode button and the colors will disappear entirely, making the 808 speaker nearly invisible depending on where you place it.

Five Fast Facts About The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000

Hopefully, you’ve had a chance to read MO’s first ride review of the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS. If not, you should go take a look at our impression of Kawasaki’s gentleman’s sport-touring motorcycle. From its aggressive good looks to its romping engine, the Ninja 1000 has a lot to offer someone who likes their open-class performance wrapped in a highly streetable package.

Although we thought we were pretty familiar with the riders who favor the Ninja 1000, Kawasaki opened its private stock of information at the 1000’s press launch. Drawing from owner surveys, Big Green gave us a clear peek into who loves these bikes and how the company plans to better serve them.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000

1. Ninja 1000 owners make more than double the national average income

According to the Census Bureau, the median annual household income in the United States is $51,000, and the top 25% of the nation’s earners make more than $85,000 per year. The Motorcycle Industry Council places the median household income of motorcyclists at $64,000.

Hands-on : This Handy Grip Gives Your iPhone DSLR-Like Controls

The cameras on our phones are fantastic shooters, especially if you have something like the iPhone 7 Plus. Controls on those camera phones are another story, as they often leave you tapping the screen in frustration, or looking for settings that just aren’t there. That’s where the Pictar comes in. It combines a spring-loaded grip with a free app to transform an iPhone into something that feels like a DSLR.

Available today (May 17) in two sizes that work on both standard-sized iPhones for $100 or the bigger Plus models for $110, the Pictar sports three dials for adjusting settings such as zoom, mode, shutter/exposure compensation along with a true two-step shutter button. That means just like on a real camera, you can press halfway down to focus, then down a bit more to snap the pic.

Midia InkBook 8 review: This could have been a versatile e-reader had it not been built on such low-end hardware

Ventures off the beaten path sometimes lead to the discovery of a gem, but not this time.

With its low display resolution, sluggish performance, and questionable app security, you’d do well to avoid this Android-powered e-reader.

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Media InkBook 8

The Midia InkBook 8 has similar dimensions to Kobo’s Aura One, measuring 6.5 by 1.3 by 8.9 inches and sporting an eight inch e-ink display. It weighs just a bit more than its Kobo counterpart, coming it at just under nine ounces. In exchange for the e-reader’s extra heft, you’ll gain a microSD card slot that can use cards with a maximum capacity of 32GB.

Upgradeable storage on an e-reader isn’t a feature we see often, these days; probably because most people just don’t need it. The 8GB of internal storage the Aura One provides, for example, can hold five to six thousand ebooks. E-readers like the Aura One, Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Oasis are one-trick ponies: their operating systems and UIs are designed to read electronic periodicals, side-loaded documents, and books from a proprietary store. Period.

Everything you need to know about augmented reality: Then, now & next

The past, present and future of AR

What is augmented reality? Only the technology that is getting Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook super stoked, that’s what. Like virtual reality, AR is a technology that’s been around for years in some form or another but it’s only recently taken off. Thanks to powerful smartphone hardware and software, AR can be taken out of your pocket and used in the blink of an eye after downloading an app.

It sounds a lot like VR, which can also be used with a mobile device, but the two are very different experiences and technologies. VR requires immersion in a virtual environment without sensory knowledge of the world around you. AR instead overlays virtual 3D objects over the real world to create a sense that they’re in front of you, requiring you to be aware of your surroundings. The picture you see with your eyes is a composite of what is really around you and what the app/game/experience adds to it.

Amazon Fire 7 vs Fire HD 8 vs Fire HD 10: Which Fire tablet should you buy?

Amazon’s Fire tablets continue to offer a popular alternative to the iPad, and with the choices of Android tablets slowly reducing over the past few years, the Fire family has offered affordable tablets that do just about everything you need.

But with three tablets in the offering, there’s a decision to be made about which tablet best suits your needs. Is the size worth the increase in price, and exactly what do you get for your money?

We’re breaking down the differences to make it easy for you.

The Fire tablets are designed to be sturdy, offering plastic backs in a range of colours. The sizes and weights step up progressively as you’d expect along with the size of the display on offer. The build quality is very much the same across all the devices, with curved rears and a bezel around the display that gives you plenty of space to grip the tablet.

Olympus Tough TG-5 preview: For the hardcore generation

Olympus has announced its latest Tough camera, the TG-5. Following the family of Tough cameras before it, the new Olympus model is everything you expect it to be. There are chunky lines, exposed bolt heads, locks on all the flaps and so on.

phplqsg3s

Such are the hallmarks of a tough cameras, looking to offering something in the compact camera space that you can’t do with your waterproof smartphone. Those mini computers have cannibalised the compact camera market, doing away with the need to carry another thing in your pocket.

The result is a camera that will withstand the sort of abuse that will make your phone baulk; but a camera that’s also perfectly savvy when dealing with your smartphone. It’s a connected wonder: not only will it let you connect your phone via Wi-Fi, giving you a live viewfinder and complete remote control, but also letting you share your images to social networks through your phone.

2017 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Review

If you were to put together a family tree for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, you would find that its roots can be traced back as far as the Kamal Concept of 2003. More than a decade has passed since Alfa Romeo pulled the sheet off of that concept, and in recent years, the brand has been fighting to make its name relevant in the market yet again. If you want proof of the brand’s unsurpassable drive to relevancy, you really don’t have to look far – just take a glance at models like the Alfa Romeo 4C or the more recent Alfa Romeo Giulia or Giulia Quadrifoglio. The Stelvio was first shown to the public at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show in Quadrifoglio form. Six months later, and we’re looking at two lesser versions of the Stelvio: and entry-level model and the Stelvio Ti.

The best part is that the lesser trim levels look just like the Quadrifoglio version we saw last November, but makes use of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 280 ponies on tap. The entry level model gets Alfa’s DNA drive mode selector, 18-inch wheels, LED running lights and taillights, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Ti version, which is a bit more expensive comes with larger 19-inch wheels, wood interior accents, and an 8.8-inch display inside as standard equipment in addition to everything found in the entry-level model.

Hands on: Amazon Fire HD 8 (2017) review

jANiirqReabV9jqAKDMHU9-650-80

Amazon has updated one of its mid-range tablets to make it even better than before, but if you own one already is it worth upgrading to?

The Fire HD 8 (2017) isn’t a top of the range monster like the new iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but it does offer up some impressive specs considering its low price point.

If you’re in the market for an affordable Amazon tablet, keep reading below for more details on the slate and our first impressions.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2017) price and release date

Amazon is selling this new tablet from June 7 in the US and the UK. There’s no word on a release in Australia from Amazon and considering the last Amazon Fire HD 8 didn’t get released there we don’t expect to see this new version either.

HTC U11 vs Samsung Galaxy S8: What’s the difference?

HTC delayed the launch of its 2017 flagship, the HTC U11, so that it could power it with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. That’s the same hardware that’s in some Samsung Galaxy S8 phones, offering a processor that aims to be more powerful and less power hungry.

The HTC U11 marks a change in design for HTC, dropping the metal unibody of the past 4 years, for a glass back. You know which other phone has a glass back? That’s right, the Samsung Galaxy S8.

gsocho-ny-19-jg

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a slim design and the front is almost all display, with very slim bezels thanks to the curved edges. A button for launching the Bixby voice assistant is situated on the left-hand side, while USB Type-C and the 3.5mm headphone jack are both present at the bottom of the device. The Galaxy S8 is IP68 water and dust resistant.

First Drive: 2017 Mercedes AMG GT-S

The Mercedes-AMG GT has only been around since 2016, so most would still consider it a new model. Nothing changes for 2017, either, but that’s just fine. The GT can be had in three forms: GT, GT S, and GT R. No, not Nissan’s GT-R; take note of the missing hyphen. Regardless of trim, the GT represents Mercedes-AMG’s hottest and most potent model. It’s certainly a worthy successor to the SLS AMG and its gullwing doors. I recently got behind the wheel of the 2017 GT S at the famed Circuit of the Americas Formula One track outside Austin, Texas during the Texas Auto Writers Association’s Springtime Auto Roundup. A quick lap around the 3.4-mile course is all it takes to solidify the GT S a something well beyond the average sport coupe.

See, the GT S gets a healthy 47-horsepower boost over the standard GT, giving it a full 503 horses at 6,250 rpm. The power comes from Mercedes-AMG’s hand-built, 4.0-liter biturbo V-8. The torque figure isn’t a letdown, either, at 479 pound-feet. All this in a coupe weighing less than 3,700 pounds. As you can imagine, performance is next-level.

Piega Classic 5.0 review

Two things strike us when we first listen to the Piega Classic 5.0 speakers: the large scale of the sound, and the clarity of each note.

Piega may not be a household name in the UK, but the Swiss speaker brand – which has specialised in ribbon tweeter designs since 1986 – is worth seeking out, if only for its detailed and articulate sound.

Sound

The amount of clear and crisp detail you disvcern in such a large, open soundstage is wonderful.

Subtleties are delivered so cleanly and effortlessly. The textures of the brooding, taut basslines in Massive Attack’s Angel have a grimy depth to them, while the crunchy top layers in Teardrop are beautifully delivered with plenty of space and control. It’s a very even presentation.

Seat Ateca review: A genuine Qashqai alternative

SUV and crossover cars sales are booming. But it’s only now that some brands are debuting an SUV for the first time. Case in point: the Seat Ateca, which began production in 2016.

The new Ateca sits above the Leon in Seat’s range and is built on the Volkswagen group’s MQB platform, meaning it shares its underpinning with the Leon… and also the Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3, Skoda Octavia and many more besides. The car it’s most closely related to – and which you might be considering it as an alternative to – is the VW Tiguan, which was recently refreshed.

But if you’re thinking the Ateca is just a VW with a Seat badge on, then think again. For the urban-bound, the Ateca is a useful 10cm shorter than the Tiguan, thanks to a shorter wheelbase. It’s cheaper than the VW too. And it’s got a usefully sized cabin and much bigger boot than the Leon hatch.

However, it’s less VW and more Nissan that Seat is going head-to-head against. Given its competitive price and well-equipped specification, the Ateca’s most obvious competitor is the ubiquitous Nissan Qashqai. Can Seat usurp the UK’s best-selling, default purchase crossover?

Sony MDR XB950B1 review: For the bass lovers

Sony is a well-known name when it comes to audio products, with its line-up including numerous feature-loaded headphones, earphones and other accessories. The company recently expanded its portfolio with the launch of the MDR XB950B1. Priced at Rs 12,990, the pair of Bluetooth headphones was first unveiled at CES, earlier this year. Primarily targeted at bass lovers, the MDR XB950B1 is claimed to offer exceptional sound quality with enhanced battery life. But is it really any good?

We used the Sony MDR XB950B1 for some time and here’s what we think about it.

Design

The MDR XB950B1 is claimed to have been especially designed for bass lovers. It has an impressive metallic design and the angular earcups make for a better user experience. They are well-cushioned and don’t cause any discomfort even when worn for long periods of time.

4 Ways Microsoft Plans to Win the Future

Moving far beyond Windows on the desktop, Microsoft wants to provide the platform for all of your devices, from handsets to headsets. At its recent Build developer conference and EDU event, the software giant laid out its vision of the very near future. Here are four ways Microsoft plans to become an even more ubiquitous part of your daily life.

You’ll download (good) apps from the Windows Store.

Today, most people download programs from their publishers, third-party vendors or open-source repositories. However, Microsoft really wants you to get all your software from its Windows Store, much in the way you get iPhone or Android apps from Apple’s and Google’s stores, respectively.

Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10 S operating system, which is targeted at students, will only install apps that come from the Windows Store. Meanwhile, the company is adding more important software, such as iTunes and Autodesk, to the store.

Samsung DeX Review: The Phone-as-PC Dream Remains Elusive

Motorola tried it with the Atrix and failed. Fujitsu thought about trying it with the Lifebook 2013concept, and failed. And a handful of Windows Mobile phones, including the HP Elite x3, Acer Liquid Jade Primo and Microsoft Lumia 950 tried it, and haven’t mustered anything more than the most lukewarm of receptions. But that’s not going to stop Samsung and its new DeX Station for the Galaxy S8 from becoming the latest in a long line of devices that have tried to turn a phone into a desktop. So has the attempt actually worked this time?

Design: A black puck of connectivity

Out of the box, the DeX Station looks like an oversized hockey puck. But give the device a push on the arrow below the Samsung logo, and the top slides back to reveal a slanted rest and a single USB-C port for hooking up your Galaxy S8. Around back, the DeX sports five ports: two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, HDMI and a USB-C port.

2017 Toyota SUV First look comparison: Fortuner v Kluger v Prado

We’re always amazed at just how many SUVs Toyota seems to sell, and there’s good reason for that – people know the brand, know the reputation, and know they’ve got options to choose from.

2017-toyota-suv-comparison-3

With that in mind, we decided to gather three of the Japanese brand’s seven-seat SUVs to put them to the test: the Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Kluger, and Toyota LandCruiser Prado.

In 2016, Toyota sold more than 30,000 of these types of SUVs, easily outselling entire brands like Audi, BMW, Land Rover and Suzuki.

Aimed at the city buyer is the Toyota Kluger – you’ll see plenty of them skirting around suburban streets. It is only available with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and eight-speed auto gearbox with front- or all-wheel drive.

The Toyota Fortuner is powered by a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine only, but can be had with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, and has four-wheel-drive in all trim grades.

Lenovo ThinkPad T470p Review

The Lenovo ThinkPad T470 is the best mainstream business laptop on the market, thanks to its epic battery life, fantastic keyboard and plethora of ports. For users who want a little more power, Lenovo makes the ThinkPad T470p, which ups the ante with a quad-core Core i5 or i7 CPU, an optional 2K screen and optional Nvidia graphics. Starting at $944 ($1,308 as reviewed), the 14-inch T470p has slightly better performance than its slimmer sibling, but for a relatively minor bump in speed, you have to live with a heavier chassis, no Thunderbolt 3 port and half the battery life.

Design

Even among ThinkPads, most of which have the same raven-black aesthetic and boxy shape, the T470p looks boring. Rather than using the same luxurious, soft-touch material as on the regular ThinkPad T470’s lid, sides and bottom, Lenovo put plain matte plastic on all sides of the T470p.

2017 Benelli TnT600 Tornado Review

When it comes to naked inline-Four 600cc streetfighters, Benelli’s TnT600 Tornado is in a class of its own due to an absence of competitors. Similar motorcycles exist in parallel-Twin form from Honda (CB500F $6,099), Kawasaki (Z650 $6,999), Yamaha (FZ-07 $7,199), and a V-Twin from Suzuki (SV650 $6,999), but each of those is two pistons shy of the four-cylinder Benelli. However, just last week Honda announced that its four-cylinder CB650F (a naked middleweight based on the faired CBR650F) will be imported to America beginning this August for the 2018 model year. A price has yet to be announced, but we expect an MSRP around $8k.

For anyone currently shopping in this range of price and performance, we urge you to sit tight a while longer because we have a shootout brewing between most of the aforementioned models (sans the just-announced CB650F). From it we’ll decipher strengths and weaknesses, and how each compares to the other. Until then, consider this single-bike review of the Benelli an appetizer to the main course.

Sony HT-ST5000 review

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Sony HT-ST5000 review

It has been a long wait. Since the idea of a Dolby Atmos soundbar was first floated a couple of years ago, we’ve been waiting for a really good one to come along.

Yamaha, Philips and Samsung have all made decent attempts, but none of them particularly grabbed our attention. However, it looks like our wait is over.

Sony’s HT-ST5000 is fantastic – pairing a real sense of height with a sophisticated sound quality. If you’ve been looking for a fuss-free way to get Dolby Atmos into your home, this is the best we’ve seen so far.

Build

The HT-ST5000 takes up less space than some of its rivals. It’s a good few centimetres smaller in each direction than the Yamaha YSP-5600, for example – but at 118cm wide, still fairly hefty.

2017 BMW M2 CSR By Lightweight Performance Review

As impressive as the BMW M2 is, rumors of a more hardcore version of the sportscoupe are still bubbling to the surface. BMW has yet to confirm or deny the possibility beyond filing trademarks for the BMW M2 CS back in November 2016. But even without any official statements, there’s growing momentum of the car actually arriving, even though nobody knows exactly when. In the meantime, those itching to drive a nastier BMW M2 can look at the aftermarket scene to scratch that itch; it just so happens that Lightweight Performance has a new program for the BMW M2 that not only packs 610 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque but also has a good name – the BMW M2 CSR – to go with it.

Eagle-eyed readers will probably remember that Lightweight Performance already has a previous program for the BMW M2. It unveiled it back in September 2016 and it featured, among other things, an engine upgrade program that tops out at 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. It was a good program, but nothing compared to what Lightweight has prepared for the M2 this time. It’s not just about the cool name or the significant increase in power. This program also features a handful of new aerodynamic upgrades for the coupe’s exterior and a completely reconfigured interior that now includes an actual roll cage. This isn’t your standard BMW M2 anymore, ladies and gentlemen.

2017 SYM T2 250i Review

SYM brings affordability and practicality together in its streetbike trainer, the T2 250i. This ride represents the largest non-scooter-type model the factory makes, and the 250 cc mill is its second-largest engine currently in production thus raising the ceiling a bit for the company in the two-wheel vehicle department. Built to take on the “Big Four” for a slice of the low-displacement crotch rocket market, this ambitious little ride carries features and aesthetic touches that most riders will find familiar, but looks ain’t everything at the end of the day.

The Taiwan-based Sanyang Motor Company isn’t very well known in the States, but Hyundai, one of its major partners, most certainly is. Most of us have heard of Honda before as well, another historical partner, and one SYM used to assemble Civic (del Sol) and Accord units for. So you see, this is no little scooter plant, but indeed a long-running (since 1954) Taiwanese heavyweight.

Sony Alpha A99 II review: Proving that translucent can triumph

Holy moly, what a specification the Sony A99 II offers: a 42.4-million-pixel BSI (back illuminated) full-frame CMOS sensor, a 399-point hybrid autofocus system, 12-frames per second shooting with continuous tracking autofocus, 4K movie capture, and 5-axis image stabilisation.

The company’s flagship Single Lens Translucent (SLT) interchangeable lens camera represents a huge step-up in technology from its four-year-old predecessor, the original Alpha 99. It’s got the muscle to lay down a challenge for the likes of other high-end offerings, too, such as Canon’s EOS 1D X II and EOS-5D Mk IV, Nikon’s D5 and D810, and the Pentax K-1.

Retailing at £3,000 body-only, however, the A99 Mark II is far from cheap – although considering the specification it’s arguably rather good value. Spec is one thing, of course, but how it handles in the real world is what we care about. Indeed, can the Sony A99 II up the SLT ante and deliver a flawless high-end shooting experience?

2015-2017 Honda CBR500R Review

Honda started the CB500 twin line back in 1993 to plug a gap in the entry-level market and serve as a mid-size commuter bike – a mission statement that’s still valid today. You could consider the CBR500R as the supersport branch of the CB family tree, but with the same 471 cc engine as its closest kin, the CB500F and CB500X. In spite of its sporty exterior, the CBR500R seems to maintain the family tradition of entry-level and commuter service.

Family ties are strong with this one, and it shares design elements with the powerful CBR1000RR, all the way down to the modest CBR300R. The “R” genome indicates full-fairing, supersport look – not as bare as the “naked” CB500F, nor as adventurous as the dual-purpose CB500X.
