Ford Focus RS v Subaru WRX STI v Volkswagen Golf R Comparison : Road Test

Think turbocharged, four-wheel-drive cars and it’s hard not to picture rally monsters flying over jumps and sliding through forests millimetres from trees. These days, though, buyers keen for a road-going, boosted, all-paw performance car are spoilt for choice. And, if you’ve got around $50k to spend, three of the best you can buy are the Ford Focus RS, Subaru WRX STI, and Volkswagen Golf R. But which is the best? Well, strap in…

The cars

Blowing socks off the world-over since blasting onto the scene in January this year, the 2016 Ford Focus RSis, apparently, the car everybody wants – and, apparently, the car every other car wants to be.

It’s got the style and sound of a road-legal rally car, and it easily comes into this comparison with the highest of expectations.

MacBook Pro 13-Inch Review Roundup : What You Need to Know

Think of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro (without Touch Bar) as both an upgrade to the old MacBook Pro and a replacement for the underpowered MacBook Air. Starting at $1,499, this 3-pound laptop features more power, thanks to a 2-GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor and Iris graphics, a brighter display, bigger touchpad and louder speakers. Add in two Thunderbolt 3 ports and it appears at first blush to be a winner.

But is it a winner? Many reviewers have complaints, especially regarding what Apple omitted. Here’s what the reviewers have to say about Apple’s latest – but not quite greatest – MacBook Pro.

V-MODA FORZA REVIEW

Given V-Moda’s track history, we were excited to see its brand-new in-ear option, the sport-focused Forza, come across our desk. But we had to wonder: Can V-Moda compete against a super-crowded $100 headphone market? As it turns out, the answer is an emphatic ‘yes!’  An excellent blend of durability and velvety-smooth sound quality, we enjoyed the Forza as much as any of the other V-Moda headphones we’ve tried — and that’s a lot.

Hisense 50H8C 50-Inch 4K TV Review : 4K on a Budget

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Hisense 50H8C 50-Inch 4K TV Review: 4K on a Budget

The Hisense 50H8C is a solid example of a bargain 4K TV. This $469 set is a good choice for shoppers looking to get an ultraHD picture without having to make a long-term investment, but it means making a few notable sacrifices. While the 50H8C does justice to higherresolution 4K content and delivers good color accuracy, it does not support the newer high dynamic range (HDR) video formats, and it doesn’t offer a wide array of smart TV connected services.

Its inability to deliver deep blacks and its poor off-axis viewing will put off some viewers.

At 50 inches, this Hisense is also smaller than the most popular 55-inch screen size favored by today’s buyers. However, the smaller dimensions may make this set more appealing to apartment dwellers.

UMi Plus Review – Mid-range deja vu

In the first half of this year, a new challenger in the smartphone arrived with guns blazing. Ignoring the almost cutthroat competition in the high-end, the UMi Super aimed for the mid-range, easily rivaling other, older brands in both features and bang for buck. But UMi was hardly done. Just two months later, it unveiled the UMi Max. And then just a month or so after, the UMi Plus. But with three smartphones in less than six months, things are bound to get confusing. Does the UMi Plus have enough for it to stand out from its own siblings, let alone the rest of the market? We take a deeper look to bring you that answer.

The Box

Gone are the days when every new device, especially high-end ones, were welcomed with unboxing videos and photos. As boxes became less notable, so too have become the unboxing process. UMi, however, has done differently with the UMi Plus. Instead of your usual cardboard affair, the smartphone comes insides a compact, plastic box, with a translucent black top cover that lets you take a peek at the smartphone sitting inside.

Garmin Forerunner 35 Review

The Garmin Forerunner 35 might not be a looker, but it does offer a solid all round running watch experience. It covers the basics well and is easy to get out running with. If you put in the time, there are plenty of other modes and settings lurking around the software and the hardware that runners and smartwatch fans will appreciate as well. At just under $200/£200, it’s competing with the likes of the TomTom Spark 3 Cardio (minus the music playback), which is a bit of a Wareable fave, although the Spark does lack the smart notification support and music playback controls you get on the 35. If you’re willing to compromise on the lacklustre design, there’s a lot to like about the Forerunner 35, which is a great entry level running watch.

Fossil Q Wander review : Android Wear in a stylish Fossil package still needs some work

The Fossil Q Wander is certainly a fashion statement but it may not be for everyone. You get a ‘real’ looking watch but not all of the smarts. Paired with the decent battery life and snappy chip, it’s still not enough compared with other smartwatch lookers out on the market. Perhaps if there was a standout feature to propel it forward but at this point, the Q Wander is simply too expensive for an average experience. You’re probably better off waiting for Fossil’s next offering.

UMI Plus Hands-on Review

We got the UMI Plus for review from a Chinese store, Efox, here we will  present our review of the Umi Plus Smartphone after using it for about a week. We are here to help you make an informed decision if you are considering buying a new phone.

[su_youtube url=”https://youtu.be/7vAqe9dMxx4″]

Design

Umi is a relatively new entrant into the highly competitive cell phone market in China. It is quite clear that Umi is attempting to distinguish themselves from other by offering a phone with great value. The first thing we will look at is the build quality, UMI Plus offers a nice sturdy feel when held in hand. The sleek brushed full metal uni-body, and the great job they did to hide/seamlessly integrate the two plastic antenna panels on the top and bottom of the device adds an additional premium feel.

TCL 50UP130 Roku TV Review : Great Streaming Options, Not-So-Great Picture

Kết quả hình ảnh cho TCL 50UP130 Roku TV

Some TVs are all about producing the best picture possible. The 50-inch TCL 50UP130 Roku TV is about offering the best online features available. Its main attraction: the built-in Roku TV connected system, which delivers thousands of internet streaming options in an easy-to-navigate interface.

At around $500, this set costs as much as the larger 55-inch TCL US5800 Roku TV, primarily because the 50UP130 includes something the US5800 does not: a remote with voice search and a headphone jack. However, this display has trouble with color accuracy in its best preset video mode, making it less of a bargain than it seems.

Design: by the numbers

The 50-inch TCL 50UP130 Roku TV is supported by sturdy, silver, arched legs on both ends of the set.

Sony Cyber-shot RX100 V Review – Fast Five

Introduction

The Sony RX100 V is the company’s newest addition to its lineup of premium compact cameras. As with the previous two versions, it has a 1″-type sensor, 24-70mm equivalent F1.8-2.8 lens but gains 24fps burst shooting in both JPEG and Raw with full autofocus and autoexposure(!), oversampled 4K video recording, and plenty more. In short, the RX100 V has an incredible amount of technology stuffed into an easily pocketable package – but despite major increases in performance, we find that some of its more peripheral qualities could still use some attention.

Razer Blade Stealth (late 2016) Review : Still the anti-MacBook Boss

Image result for Razer Blade Stealth (late 2016) Review : Still the anti-MacBook Boss

When I reviewed the original Razer Blade Stealth earlier this year, I suggested it was the “true MacBook alternative”. I stand by that claim, and go one further: Razer has out-done Apple in one key area. At a time when Apple is taking upwards 2-3 years to bring a refresh to their MacBooks, Razer just released 2 in 1. Less than a year after release, the Razer has another Razer Blade Stealth with upgraded specs.

Is that good or is that bad, you might be thinking to yourself. I feel that it’s a bit of both. Razer is showing that they’re capable of turning around upgraded specs in a new model in a quick and efficient manner. Razer is also showing that they want the best innards possible for their notebooks at all times – no matter what.

Sennheiser Game One Review — Gorgeous But Overpriced

I don’t know who first set the precedent that a black-and-red color scheme translates to “awesome, and maybe a little bit evil,” but I’d like to tip my hat to that person. The Sennheiser Game One headset ($250) is a slick black peripheral with just enough shiny red highlights to turn heads. The downside is that it’s the only feature about this very-decent-overall headset that’s likely to draw much attention.

The Game One’s audio sounds good, but maybe not as good as a $250 headset should sound. It’s pretty, but too bulky to use while you’re out and about. It boasts lots of padding, but could feel much more comfortable. Taken as a whole, the Game One is a competent device, but it doesn’t really do anything to justify its premium price.

Fnatic Clutch G1 Review — The Price Is Right

While finding the perfect gaming mouse remains an elusive fantasy, seeking out a good one is now easier than ever. Take the Fnatic Clutch G1 ($60) as an example. The Clutch G1 is a perfectly competent mouse with a reasonable price tag; its only real crime is that other mice have taken the exact same concept and done it better.

Make no mistake: The Clutch G1 is a comfortable, responsive mouse with just enough extra buttons to give competitive players an advantage. If you can get past the disappointing software, you’ll find a peripheral that could serve you well either at home or on the tournament scene. If you have strong feelings against Razer, Logitech or SteelSeries, the Clutch G1 is an easy recommendation; otherwise, you could do better for around the same price.

5 reasons to get excited about Lenovo’s Google Tango Phone

The Lenovo Phab2 Pro is the first consumer aimed Google Tango phone released to the public for sale. We’ve been digging our fingernails into our kneecaps in anticipation. We’ve been waiting for a consumer device with Tango since Tango was first made public. Now, with a variety of examples in awesome augmented experiences, we’re going to show you why.

The software we’re showing here won’t be available immediately on the Lenovo Phab2 Pro for certain. They might well be, but we can’t be sure until we have the device in our hands. It is all able to run on the Phab2 Pro, though. It was all run on a developer tablet for Tango earlier this year at Google I/O 2016.

These bits of software give you a small window into the possibilities with the Tango platform. The Lenovo Phab2 Pro will, we hope, be just one of a collection of phones and tablets with these abilities. As of this morning, Lenovo’s Phab2 Pro is now released by the company to their online store.

Pioneer SC-LX701 review

The Pioneer SC-LX701 has a lot to live up to. It follows an auspicious line of Award-winning amplifiers at this price.

From 2010’s SC-LX53 onwards, every incarnation of this amplifier has gone on to win an Award, including last year’s SC-LX59 – which we have used as part of our reference system in the What Hi-Fi? listening rooms ever since.

The new SC-LX701 is a replacement for the LX59, and comes packed with all the latest technology a 2016 amplifier should have. But can it live up to such formidable forebears?

Sound

Every year, Pioneer adds on more muscle to its predominantly precise, articulate and agile sound.

9 of the best Apple MacBook Pro (2016) accessories

All the gear you need to make your shiny new MacBook Pro even better

Are you the proud owner of a brand new MacBook Pro? Congratulations. We’re happy for you, and not jealous at all. Nope. Not one bit :-)

While you’re probably too busy ogling its gorgeous screen and running your hands across its fancy Touch Bar (not to mention caressing its premium – thinner than ever – aluminium body), you’re probably too distracted to realise that there’s not a lot you can actually plug into it. Like say, your Tactical Slightly Blacker Black iPhone 7, for example.

There’s no denying the MacBook Pro’s beauty, of course, but in Apple’s bid to simplify everything in the name of a pretty face, the new MacBook Pro could definitely be a little more… functional.

Canon EOS M10 Review

For the first time, Canon has expanded its EOS mirrorless camera line with a second, concurrent model. With past models, each new successor replaced the one before it, but with the Canon EOS M10, the Japanese camera maker is offering an additional, more entry-level model to sit beneath the beefier, more complex EOS M3.

Canon EOS M10 Review -- Product Image

The goal of the EOS M10 is to provide step-up users — be it from just a smartphone or from a compact camera — with interchangeable-lens camera image quality and features in a compact and easy to use package.

Borrowing many of the features and design from the earlier Canon EOS M2, which never officially made it to US shores, the EOS M10 takes a step beyond the M2 with a newer image processor and improved image quality, as well as some cosmetic and operability enhancements.

2017 Honda CRF450R First Ride Review

The 2017 Honda CRF450R is the most anticipated motocross bike of the year, and it proves to be worth the wait!

We got our chance to test the 2017 CRF450R at the amazing Monster Mountain MX Park just outside Montgomery, Alabama. After spending a full day, including more than 80 laps on the all-new CRF, we can absolutely confirm that Honda has a serious contender for top honors in the 450cc MX class. If you ride red, or you’ve been thinking about it, now may be the time to pony up for a CRF450R.

110116-2017-honda-CRF450R-MO-L-Rousseau

It’s been a long time coming, as production of the CRF450R was delayed when a massive earthquake damaged Honda’s production facilities in Kumamoto last April. Eventually, spy photos of the CRF450R were leaked, showing a machine powered by an all-new version of Honda’s Unicam engine instead of the DOHC engine tested by HRC rider Akira Narita in the All Japan MX National Championship.

Roku Ultra and Roku Premiere+ reviews : The priciest Roku still isn’t the best Roku

Improvements to Roku’s high-end set-top boxes don’t add up to a better value—unless you need 4K HDR video.

Roku Premiere+ and Roku Ultra

Even before the Roku Ultra arrived, spending more than $100 on a Roku box wasn’t really necessary. Last year’s Roku 4 was a compromised device at $130, with an internal fan and an unusually large footprint for a media streamer. And besides its support for 4K streaming, the experience wasn’t much different from the $100 Roku 3, which remained the better value for most people.

Pricier Roku models are an even tougher sell now. While the $130 Roku Ultra is more compact than its predecessor and adds 4K HDR video support, those same features are also available in the even-smaller $100 Roku Premiere+. And if you don’t have a 4K television, you’ll probably do just fine with the excellent Roku Streaming Stick, which launched earlier this year for just $50.

BTS Pro review : Bluetooth headphones let you tweak the sound with an app

Sporty Bluetooth 4.2 headphones from 66 Audio let you customize the sound and the button output with an app for iPhone and Apple Watch.

Kết quả hình ảnh cho BTS Pro Bluetooth headphones

The BTS Pro headphones deliver good sound, impressive range, and long battery life, although the call quality and sweat resistance could be better.

Wired headphones: It seems like we just can’t shake them, even though they’re often harbingers of misery. They’re cheap and typically reliable, but the wires tangle or get snagged, ripping the headphones right off of our ears. But now Apple’s nudging us toward a wireless future, even though its own AirPods are delayed until who knows when. In the meantime, we can’t blame you for weighing your options.

EHANG GHOSTDRONE 2.0 REVIEW

If the name Ehang rings a bell, it’s probably because you’ve heard or read about the company’s 184 Drone — aka, the flying taxi that was unveiled at CES earlier this year. The company may be best known as the purveyor of a yet-to-be-released sky taxi, but it also makes a number of smaller drones that don’t carry people. The latest of these is the Ghost Drone 2.0 — a new and improved version of the company’s original drone that’s designed for first person view flying. We took it for a spin to see how it stacks up against some of the more popular drones on the market.

ehang-ghostdrone-inflightfullfronttrees-800x533-c

Features

Out of the box, the Ghost Drone 2.0 sports a decent set of specs and features. It provides about 25 minutes of flight time, a maximum operating range of about one kilometer (0.62 miles), maximum speed of about 43 miles per hour, and a gimbaled 4K camera that helps you capture awesome aerial footage of your flights.

Bose QuietControl 30 review

Think of Bose’s QuietControl 30 ($300, £230 or AU$449) as the ultimate neckband-styleBluetooth headphone. (That’s the style that looks like a horseshoe draped around the back of a person’s neck, which LG pioneered with its top-selling Tone series.)

bose-quietcontrol-30-03

Because it’s an in-ear model, a lot people, including me, thought it would be the wireless successor to the QuietComfort 20, which started out at $300 and now lists for $250. That wired model is Bose’s smallest model with built-in noise-cancellation, which can block out droning sounds like airline engines or traffic noise. However, that’s not exactly what the QC30 is. After using it for several says, I now think of it more as the noise-canceling version of Bose’s SoundSport Wireless.

2017 Audi S3 First Drive: The compact sports sedan gets fiercer

You don’t have to put the 2017 Audi S3 next to its A4 sibling to see that, in fitting Halloween style, the resemblance is spooky. Audi’s feisty little sedan has been satisfying eager drivers wanting the punch of the company’s excellent turbocharged engines with the reassurance of its quattro all-wheel drive since 2013. Now, sitting – for the moment, at least – atop a mid-cycle refresh of the whole A3 range, it’s getting a little more expensive and a lot more personality.

The A3 line is an important one for Audi. With roughly 20,000 sales in the US annually, and 30-percent share of its class, it’s the top-seller int the A segment. More importantly, arguably, is that it’s the gateway to the Audi brand: almost three-quarters of buyers come from mainstream automakers.

Xiaomi MI Note 2 VS Xiaomi MI MIX Review – Which One is Better

1066000393298cf0e266

qq%e5%9b%be%e7%89%8720161030133125

According to specs comparison, Xiaomi MIX and Xiaomi mi note 2 has no big difference in their hardware, only different in screen size, storage, camera, battery, price, etc. But the performance, OS,  and network are the same.

As for variants, Xiaomi mi note 2 has divided to standard version, advanced version, and global version, as for global version just added some network frequency band to be used in other countries which is very suitable for those businessman. for Chinese users, Xiaomi mi note 2 only has standard edition and advanced version.

101e00053134b04a06bf

Xiaomi MI MIX has standard version and elite version, only different in storage, camera, fingerprint scanner with metal material. Xiaomi mix standard version has RAM 4GB ROM 128GB internal storage which sells at 3,499 yuan, $583, Xiaomi MIX advanced version, RAM 6GB ROM 256GB with 18K golden camera and fingerprint metal scanner, 3,999 yuan, $666.

Therefore, the hardware of Xiaomi mi note 2 and Xiaomi mix has no much difference, both of which are the top level compared with current Android flagship. Xiaomi MI MIX can be considered to the advanced version with larger screen of mi note 2.

101e0005313564279dbf

The biggest difference between them is the design, let’s see their design and compare which is more beautiful.

101e000531370ddcdebb

Design

In terms of appearance, the most obvious screen between Xiaomi mi mix and MI Note 2 is the material, the former adopts all ceramic body, the latter uses the glass design, although Xiaomi mi mix with 6.4inch is not much larger than Xiaomi mi note 2 with 5.7inch, but both has similar dimensions.

10640001e05644b93020

Xiaomi mi note 2 is equipped with 3D curved glass screen, which is the second Chinese curved screen after Vivo XPlay 5, compared with S7 Edge, they have similar visual effect, which will be the biggest highlight of mi note 2, in addition, Xiaomi mi note 2 comes with the front Home button.

As for the back design, Xiaomi mi note 2 also uses 3D curved glass screen, the metal frame which makes the gripping feel very excellent.

But Xiaomi mi mix has 6.4inch large screen, and its dimension is similar to iPhone 7 Plus, equipped with 17:8 screen, and it adopts cantilever type and electric ceramic sound design, the drive unit transform the signal into mechanical energy to convey the voice to the ear by a sublime way and frame resonance.

10640001e05d55d296ac

Ultrasonic replaces the proximity sensor, and built the ultrasonic in the frame, put the front camera on the top right by ultrasonic sensor, it adopts customized front camera module to support taking photos rotatably,  the whole design uses all ceramic including frame, back cover,  buttons, etc.

10640001e05ae6ce3374

Xiaomi MI MIX advanced edition adopts 18K golden craftsmanship on the back fingerprint scanner and camera.

In terms of design, the biggest highlight of Xiaomi mi note 2 is the 3D curved screen, but Xiaomi mi mix uses concept design and adds some innovative technology and all ceramic body at high cost, so it’s the reason to sell over 3,000 yuan, $500.

10650003974bcad0f349101e00053560656156c3

Which one is more beautiful, Xiaomi MIX, or Xiaomi mi note 2? We believe there will be different answer from different customers, if you like curved screen, MI Note 2 is your first choice, if you like concept design, ceramic design, Xiaomi mi mix should be your priority. But from MI fans, Xiaomi mi mix seems more beautiful in  design.

Conclusion

Xiaomi mi note 2 is different from Xiaomi mi mix in price with 700 yuan, $100 gap, both have no big difference in its hardware, so the most difference between them is the screen size, the design, the former one has its advantage in the curved screen and cheaper price, the latter one is amazing in concept design, and higher-level ceramic body. As for which one to choose, it’s up to your first impression.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85/G80 Review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85 is an SLR-style mid-range mirrorless camera. It features 4K video capture, 2nd-generation 5-axis image stabilization and a 16MP Four Thirds sensor with no optical low pass filter. A sister model, the G80 will be available in other markets.

Though Panasonic has not come outright and said it, the G85 is the successor to the G7. More a refinement than something new entirely, both cameras share seemingly identical bodies and offer twin control dials, plenty of customizable buttons and fully articulating touch interfaces.

But the G85 is rather more grand: it’s weather-sealed with a magnesium alloy front plate, and offers a new electromagnetic shutter to combat shutter shock, an upgraded electronic viewfinder and 5-axis in-camera IS.
