Xiaomi launched their own Transformer Mi Pad

Well, we just heard about Samsung’s foldable smartphone which is a pretty impressive idea. And now, it may be Xiaomi’s turn to show you something unique as well: Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer!

Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer – From Mi Pad to Decepticon and vice versa

Back to the time when Hasbro – a global company “committed to Creating the World’s Best Play Experiences”, created the Transformers franchise, it was, and still is, so famous as well as loved by a lot of people. Maybe that has inspired Xiaomi and then they decided to work with Hasbro to produce Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer, or Mi Pad Decepticon to be more specific. On the other hand, we assume it is a special idea the firm dedicates to their consumers to celebrate its 6th birthday on April 6, 2016.

e-volo Volocopter VC200 done its first manned flight

Small and very lightweight helicopters have been around for decades for enthusiasts to enjoy just for fun. A company called e-volo has been working on something it calls a multicopter that looks more like a giant multirotor droneaircraft than a machine designed to carry human occupants. The flying machine is called the Volocopter VC200 and e-volo has announced that it has conducted its first manned flight.

Nokia A1 VS Nokia C1 : 4GB RAM smartphones for a budget price

Nokia CEO recently confirmed that they are planning on a premium mobile for their come back. How about these 4GB RAM beasts, both featuring a very nice camera on board: Nokia A1 VS Nokia C1?

Nokia A1 VS Nokia C1: perfect for Nokia comeback

First of all, let’s take a look at what Nokia A1 VS Nokia C1 have in common. Both smartphones are said to be powered by powerful 4GB RAM. Such capacity is strong enough to make these machine fit in the premium category of smartphones. However, from what we know, the first Nokia smartphone to launch will not cost a heavy price tag. Instead, the giant will keep it pretty affordable compare to what it has to offer. This is a nice strategy to compete after a long time of absence.

Nissan GT-R sets drift record at 189 mph

Nissan has announced that it has entered the Guinness World Records book with a very special GT-R for the fastest drift ever. Masato Kawabata, a Japanese drift champion for the Japanese drifting series, piloted the specially tuned Nissan GT-R. The record was set at the Fujairah International Airport, UAE. The 2016 GT-R used for the record setting run is far from stock.

The car was specially tuned with support and coordination from Nismo specialists and Greddy Trust. Kawabata extensively tested the car before the record setting performance at the Fuji Speedway in Japan. The tuned car makes 1380hp and was converted so that all the power was sent to the rear wheels. Standard Nissan GT-Rs are all-wheel drive cars.

Alleged new Moto X leaked with front fingerprint button

Remember Motorola? Yes the company that made the popular RAZR flip phone, got bought by Google, and then got sold off to Lenovo. Considering that sale, the company has been relatively low-key lately, after launching the Moto X Style and friends last year. Of course, we’ve seen Lenovo design engineer Ashton Kutcher advertising the smartphone just recently. And perhaps Lenovo will need to advertise the next Moto X to death if it will indeed resemble the newest leak that is already earning scathing remarks over the Internet.

ASUS ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe to come with spectacular appearances and…

This is not the first time we heard about ASUS ZenFone 3. And today, those machines’ renders have been published, claimed to be the designs of ASUS ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe.

FreeMotionHandling concept is a flying helium-filled gripping device

The floating orb that you see here is designed with the intention of being able to pick up small objects and then drop them off where they are needed. It might one day be the perfect autonomous flying machine for delivering small packages. The device has the not so eloquent name of the FreeMotionHandling project and it is from the Festo Bionic Learning Network.

The project is a combination of two other projects including the FlexShapeGripper and the MotionSphere the firm showed off previously. The gripper portion is an autonomous gripping sphere that can hold an object, pick it up, and fly where needed and drop it off. FreeMotionHandling is a concept that features a 54-inch diameter inflated sphere with a rotor ring around it and a gripper attached that is flexible.

Newspapers cry foul over Brave browser’s ad scheme

Many who spend hours upon hours on the Web are probably acutely aware of the situation surrounding advertisements. Many of them might have even taken to using one of them so-called ad blockers. Ads are mostly considered nuisances at best, privacy liabilities at worst. But they also happen to be a legitimate and important source of income for many Web content publishers. The new Brave browser is taking a rather unconventional stance at fighting ads, mostly by replacing them with other ads. That, however, has irked not a few newspapers in the US who are practically labeling Brave’s system as theft.

Huawei P9 vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro : Giant vs Giant

Xiaomi Mi5 Pro and Huawei P9 (4GB RAM version) are the latest flagships of their companies, which are also two of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in China. However, if you want us to pick out the best model, it will be…

Huawei or Xiaomi?

They’re flagships of their own companies, so no doubt they are equipped with gorgeous designs and high-end hardware. In today’s comparison, we would like to skip the appearance battle and look at their excellent specifications closely. First of all, let’s see what Xiaomi Mi5 Pro specs and Huawei P9 specs have in common. They’ve got very similar Full HD displays (though, in fact the P9’s is a bit bigger than the other’s – 5.2 inches and 5.15 inches, respectively), 4GB RAM, 3,000mAh batteries, dual SIMs, fingerprint scanners, USB Type C ports, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (with different UIs on top – MIUI 7.0 and Emotion UI 4.1).

Ford’s new police car goes stealthy by hiding the light bar

Drivers who often speed or jump red lights are going to be in for a surprise in the near future, as the days of easily identifying a police car by its bulky, top-mounted light bar are coming to an end. Ford has just debuted a new version of its Explorer-based Interceptor Utility for police, featuring a new stealthy, “no profile” light bar that is installed inside the SUV at the top of the windshield.

This isn’t the first type of interior light bars to be seen on police cars trying to be less noticeable, however the typical aftermarket options often take up a lot of space, creating problems like limited visibility for officers, or being installed in a location where they can’t be easily seen by other drivers.

Origin Chronos VR Review : Living Room Looks, VR-Ready Performance

If you think that getting VR-ready requires you to put a monstrous tower beneath your desk, the Origin Chronos has a few words for you. This compact PC ($1,799 as reviewed) combines high-end gaming performance with a slick design that would look perfectly at home in your entertainment center. The Chronos’ impressively compact chassis, and VR-capable Nvidia GTX 970 GPU, form a compelling package, though its strong gaming muscle gives way to some noisy fans.

Atlas Wristband review : A rep counting gym wearable that’ll stand out for good and bad reasons

There’s a lot to like about the Atlas Wristband. First and foremost, it delivers what it promises. The ability to track a whole host of different exercises so you can focus on getting the most from your workout. The app and the data it records is easy to digest and unlike the GymWatch, it won’t feel like a daunting place for gym newbies. There’s definitely room for improvement though and I’m talking mostly about the hardware. For $200, I’d expect something that didn’t draw attention for its clunky look. I definitely feel like more could be done on analysing form, but maybe that will come. It’s a good starting point and the most reliable gym wearable I’ve used so far. If Atlas continues to improve the software, then maybe, just maybe, I can look past that ugly design.

Porsche 911 Turbo S (2017) first drive review : Ready to launch

In a world of McLarens, Ferraris and Porsche’s own 918 supercar, it’s easy to forget about the shock and awe that the Porsche 911 Turbo was once capable of inducing. The original, usable supercar was once considered to be almost antisocially fast. Is it wrong to assume that it’s been left behind in a power war that continues to be fought between German, British, Italian and Swedish supercars?

Well, yes. Wrong because, in new and improved Turbo S form it now offers 580 horsepower, has four-wheel drive, a super-fast shifting 7-speed PDK gearbox and weighs only 1,600kg. And to help visualise how that all feels when you really need to get a move-on, we’re sat at the bottom of the acceleration straight on Porsche’s dedicated track that’s part of its Silverstone Experience centre. We’re about to “launch” the Turbo S.

Panasonic Lumix GX80 preview : ‘GX8 mini’ adds 5-axis stabilisation, loses low-pass filter

With the Lumix GF8 not arriving on British shores, we were beginning to wonder if Panasonic had bailed on the smaller-scale and more affordable compact system camera concept. But that’s not the case, as the latest Lumix GX80 stands to prove.

If you’re looking for a relatively small-scale system camera that you can grow into, then the GX80 offers aplenty – from a tilt-angle screen to a built-in viewfinder. In many senses, having handled this latest Lumix, it feels like the little brother to the bulkier and more advanced GX8; or an echo of the earlier GX7 with some new features.

KPhone K5 Review : Can This $199 iPhone Clone Shine?

The KPhone K5 comes close to joining the growing ranks of budget-priced Android phones offering better-than-average features at a low price. The K5 boasts outstanding battery life as well as a respectable screen and camera, all in a phone that sells for less than $200. But needless copying of the iPhone’s design and interface — a problem that still plagues the Android ecosystem — mar what is otherwise a decent experience.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX85 Announced with 16MP sensor and no AA filter

Panasonic has announced the Lumix DMC-GX85 mirrorless camera with a 16MP Live MOS sensor with no AA filter.

The new all-around Micro Four Thirds camera designed for photographers and videographers is a stripped down version of the GX8 model which features a redesigned shutter mechanism, and 5-axis Dual IS.

Panasonic claims the removal of the anti-aliasing filter boosts fine detail resolution by 10%, and an electromagnet-driven shutter mechanism aims to reduce blur from shutter shock. The sensor also affords a sensitivity range from ISO 200-25600 to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions.

2016 BMW 750i xDrive Review

How do you review a luxury cruise liner or a private jet? Certainly not from the captain’s bridge or the pilot’s seat. So it goes with the 2016 BMW 750i xDrive, the latest long-wheelbase expression of the German brand’s flagship, a technological tour-de-force that centers the spotlight on those few lucky enough to be able to afford not only a six-figure sedan, but also a driver to go with it.

This of course poses a professional dilemma, for while I often find myself with a high end automobile berthed in my garage, my lifestyle is not such where I can snap my fingers and have it brought ’round to the front of the house by my faithful chauffeur. And so, a compromise is born. I elected to drive the BMW 750i xDrive from Montreal to New York City in advance of the New York International Auto Show, where I would be able to sample the sedan over the course of the 800-mile round trip as a driver. Once in Manhattan, it would be time to evaluate the vehicle from the rear accommodations as I traded off riding and driving duties with a friend who had agreed to the decadent sacrifice in the name of science.

Garmin Approach S20 review : Everyday golf watch covers all basics, but doesn’t quite make par

For golfers looking for a decently priced GPS watch with a host of useful features, the Approach S20 covers all the bases. The activity tracking and smartwatch notifications will tick boxes for some, although few will opt to sport the boxy looks all day every day. Occasional distance issues did mar a top performance, as did the AutoShot feature, which simply wasn’t close to being accurate. But on the whole a good mix of features at a decent price.

LucidSound LS30 Review : wireless gaming headphones that don’t look ridiculous

I’m not the sort of person who shies away from slime green headphones – but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a pair of muted grays and blacks now and again. The Hoverboard You Should Get (So Far)

Whether hoverboards are this year’s Tickle Me Elmo or the beginning of a true movement in, well, movement is yet to be seen. Either way, they’re among the most discussed gadgets this holiday season, and, much as in the similarly trendy field of selfie sticks, figuring out which one to buy can be quite confusing. We researched these self-balancing, two-wheeled scooters for more than 10 hours and rode three for more than 20 hours. After all that, we can’t pick any one model as the “best,” because they all work similarly—and many even use the same technology inside. But we can give you some advice on what to look for when shopping, and we can suggest a model that meets our criteria for a safe buy.

Motorized Roller Skates That Make 12 MPH Feel Absolutely Terrifying

HERE’S THE FIRST thing I learned when riding a pair of RocketSkates: 12 mph might seem slow, but strap a pair of motorized roller skates to your feet and that speed becomes instantly terrifying.

After a quick tutorial, I donned on these hefty electric skates, pushed off, heard the motor kick in with a delightful digitized afterburner sound effect, and… then I immediately freaked out and bailed onto my toes like a chump. This happened roughly 10 times in a row. Luckily, the RocketSkates are easy to stop: You can either lean back on your heel to engage the brake, or you can simply step onto your toes like I did. The footplates of each skate end at about mid-sole, so your toes are always available for freak-out braking.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR review

Although portraits are often shot on lenses of between 50-85mm, longer lenses from 100-135mm are widely considered to offer a classic portrait focal-length range. With the rapid growth of Fujifilm’s X-mount lens line-up, it was only a matter of time before we saw the brand expand into this area. Earlier this year, Fujifilm launched its Fujinon XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 135mm on the Fujifilm APS-C X-Trans sensor cameras. Its fast aperture and long focal length will undoubtedly prove to be a big hit with portrait and wedding photographers, but it has potential applications in other genres too.
