LG 65W7 Wallpaper 4K OLED TV Hands-on Review

The wallpaper TV has arrived

What is the LG W7?

The W7 Ultra HD 4K OLED TV is the latest addition to LG’s range of Signature products. It is their flagship TV for 2017 and uses a wallpaper concept with just the panel attached to the wall and everything else housed in a separate all-in-one box. Aside from these unique design aspects, the W7 has all the same features as LG’s entire OLED range for 2017 which includes the B7, C7, E7 and G7. That means all of their new OLED TVs support High Dynamic Range including HDR10, Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and Technicolor. LG have also tweaked the performance of their OLED TVs this year, promising increased brightness, better detail just above black and improved image accuracy with both SDR and HDR content. The 2017 OLED TVs also includes the latest version of webOS and Dolby Atmos support via psychoacoustic processing from just two speakers, although there are six in the W7’s All-in-One box. So let’s get hands-on with the W7 and see how it performs.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X vs Redmi Note 4 Full Review : Which One is Worthwhile to Buy?

Last month, Xiaomi has officially released a new smartphone in 2017, Redmi Note 4X, aiming at 150usd budget level. In terms of name, it should be a variant of Redmi Note 4, therefore, when we choose a smartphone about Redmi series, we may select a new smartphone, so which one is more worthwhile to select, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X vs Redmi Note 4?

Design

Besides different processor, they have difference in design, Redmi Note 4X still uses three step design, the antenna line has changed from plastic white line on Redmi Note 4 to trench, which has shown in Meizu phones before. In fact the white line on Redmi Note 4 is better for visual experience.

The best smartwatch 2017: We choose between Apple, Samsung and more

Picking the best smartwatch for you among the plethora of brand new devices is increasingly tough. Gone are those horrible lumps of plastic and the likes of the Apple Watch Series 2, Samsung Gear S3, Fossil Q and Huawei Watch 2 challenging classic watches in terms of design.

There are important considerations about the choice of operating system, battery life and fitness features. But wearing a watch is about also expressing some form of your personality and design is a very important consideration for many buyers.

There are more than a few expected smartwatches inbound at Baselworld 2017, too. A new Tag Heuer Modular smartwatch is set to up the ante in terms of design, and we’re also tipped for announcements from Fossil, Swarovski, Alpina, Casio and more. So keep Wareable on lock for news as it happens.

Dell Latitude 5480 Review

Built for mainstream business users, Dell’s 14-inch Latitude 5480 packs strong performance, and long battery life into a durable package. Starting at $769 ($1,562 as tested), Dell’s laptop has the manageability and security options corporate IT departments require, along with deep key travel and an accurate touchpad/pointing stick. If you don’t mind its dull touch screen, the 5480 has a lot to offer.

2017 Mercedes SLC-Class RedArt Edition Review

The Mercedes-AMG GT may be grabbing all the headlines these days, and for good reason. The whole family of GT models are incredible and whatever attention they get is well-deserved. But let’s not forget about this fact either. The AMG GTs are not the only sports cars Mercedes has in its lineup. One of them, the Mercedes SLC-Class, receives far less attention, but let it still be said, the SLC-Class still holds some weight as a solid sports car so it’s only fitting that it’s finally getting the attention it deserves in the form of the SLC-Class RedArt Edition.

Yes, the SLC-Class is getting a special edition model and it’s a well deserved one at that. It’s time Mercedes’ entry-level roadster got some of that SE love, right? Better late than never then because here it is, and even better, the RedArt Edition is not limited to a specific trim of the SLC-Class but instead is available to the whole lot of them. That includes the SLC 180, 200, 250d, 300, and for good measure, the AMG SLC43 too.

Amped Wireless Ally Plus Whole Home Smart Wi-Fi System review

Unlike most mesh Wi-Fi systems geared toward home users, the Amped Wireless Ally Plus has something for everyone. Novice users will love its easy-to-use mobile app and advanced users will still be able to customize their network via a comprehensive web interface, which is unavailable in existing popular systems like the Eero, Google Wifi or Luma. And likely everyone will be happy with its performance and Wi-Fi coverage.

If you live in a home of 4,000 square feet or so and want to broadcast Wi-Fi coverage across every inch of it, the $300 Ally Plus is a great choice. The only exception might be is if your home is already outfitted with Ethernet ports. In that case, Google Wifi will provide better performance, since the Ally Plus doesn’t allow for connecting the units together using a network cable.

GoPro Hero5 Session review

GoPro’s Session camera got off to a rocky start.

gopro-hero5-session-05

The tiny cube-shaped shooter — the smallest the company had ever made — received praise for its design while simultaneously being bashed for middling video quality and too few features for too high a price. It wasn’t until GoPro cut the price in half to $200, £200 or AU$300 that consumers were able to look past its shortcomings.

The original remains in the lineup as the company’s entry-level model at that $200, but is joined by the improved Hero5 Session. It’s still going to seem pricey to some at $300, AU$460 and £300, but at least now it has some higher-end features to back it up, including 4K-resolution video. That’s excellent for such a tiny camera.

2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition Review

Mitsubishi is struggling to keep up with demands presented by the masses, effectively letting certain once-successful models like the Lancer go untouched for years only to be discontinued like the EVO program that once made Mitsubishi a favorite rally brand. Now, as the Lancer makes its way to the guillotine, the brand shifts its focus to crossovers and SUVs in an attempt to stay relevant in an ever-changing world. We know there’s a new crossover planned to debut in Geneva later this year (for the love of all that is holy, we really hope that don’t call that model “Eclipse”) but that leaves Mitsubishi with nothing special for its time at the Chicago Auto Show. Until now, that is, as the brand has just announced that it will debut a limited-edition variant of the Outlander Sport that is said to bring “striking style and technology enhancements at an affordable price.” In other words, it’ll get a new set of wheels and a few other minor things outside, to go with some unique interior work and smartphone integration.

5 Winning Features of the ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom

ASUS is set to launch their latest smartphone in the country next month – the Zenfone 3 Zoom. It succeeds the original Zenfone Zoom in 2015, and instead of a single zoom-capable camera, it now uses a dual camera setup to go head-to-head with other camera-centric smartphones. But is that all there is to the Zenfone 3 Zoom? Take a look at its five winning features to find out.

1. Sleek design and premium build

The new Zenfone 3 Zoom has improved a lot over its predecessor in terms of design. It’s thinner and lighter even though it’s sporting a larger battery. It’s also more ergonomic and feels good on hand thanks to the metal chassis that curves on the sides and a front glass with a 2.5-dimensional contour to the edge. The quality and feel are actually close to that of the iPhone 7 Plus.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Benchmarks : A 4K Gaming Beast

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, one of the company’s most powerful graphics cards to date, is here. Nvidia claims it’s the biggest performance leap from a standard GTX card to an upgraded Ti model thus far.

It costs $699 for the Founder’s Edition, and partners will soon have their own cards. So how does it perform?

While we haven’t had the opportunity to test any pre-built gaming systems with a 1080 Ti yet, our sister sites Tom’s Hardware and Anandtech ran detailed tests on the new card with otherwise similar builds to see how it compares to the rest of Nvidia’s lineup and AMD’s Radeon R9 Fury X. Be sure to check out their full reviews for far more details and tests on even more games. Also note that Nvidia has released a driver that supports 1080 Ti, which also adds DX12 enhancements.

Microsoft Surface Mouse review

The Microsoft Surface Mouse is a peripheral that’s designed to make working on Windows 10 tablets – especially Microsoft’s own Surface Pro 4 – more comfortable.

Paired with the Microsoft Surface Keyboard, the idea is that these two devices can turn your tablet into a laptop-like device.

The Microsoft Surface Mouse is priced at $49.99 (£44.99, AU$79.95), which isn’t cheap for a wireless mouse. However, Microsoft’s expertise in creating comfortable computing peripherals, along with a sturdy build quality and guaranteed Windows 10 compatibility (not that that’s much of an issue these days) goes some way to justifying the high price.

Aperion Audio Verus II Grand Speaker System Review

Six years ago, I reviewed the first version of Aperion Audio’s then new Verus Grand speaker line. While this was a considerable step up from the internet-direct manufacturer’s previous, well-regarded budget-priced models, it still offered incredible value. As I concluded at the time: “If [the Verus Grand] impresses you as much as [it] impressed me, you’ll ultimately be a winner.”

317aperian.promo_

Now this Portland, Oregon–based company has a fresh lineup, the Verus II Grand. Like Aperion’s other speakers, they’re designed in the U.S. but built in China. Fifteen years ago, such an arrangement was uncommon, but today most of the world’s relatively affordable audio products (and some not-soaffordable ones) are manufactured in eastern Asia.

To allay customer concerns about buying a speaker system for which no dealer audition is possible, Aperion provides a 60-day moneyback guarantee. This includes shipping both ways in the U.S. (Alaska and Hawaii excepted). Aperion also provides a 10-year transferrable warranty (three years on subwoofer amplifiers), with reasonable limitations.

2017 Maserati Levante By Startech Review

This time last year, Maserati was preparing to unveil the Levante SUV at the Geneva Motor Show. Not only was it a signal of the Italian automaker’s intentions to go all-in on the premium SUV market, but it also marked a big move to expand its own lineup past the usual coupes and sedans that it was offering. Fast forward to this week and the Maserati Levante is once again headed to Geneva, although this time, it’s German tuner Starch that’s bringing the SUV with it to the biggest auto show in the world.

The Brabus-owned aftermarket firm is no stranger to these types of events since it’s been a regular fixture in Geneva over the past few years. But that was then, and this is now. And as far as “now” goes, the Levante is taking center stage at the Startech booth where it will be showcased in full aftermarket regalia, complete with a new body kit, a massive set of wheels, and the promise of interior and engine upgrades, both of which will come at a later date.

Microsoft Surface Keyboard review

Microsoft has released the Surface Keyboard, a full-size keyboard aimed at making typing on the Surface Pro 4 more comfortable.

en-INTL-XL-Surface-Cupido-WS2-00025-RM1-mnco

While Microsoft’s latest Surface Pro tablet does a good job of replacing your laptop, its Type Cover is pretty expensive at £135 (around $190 or AUS$260), and doesn’t quite manage to replicate the typing experience of a proper keyboard.

To help make the Surface Pro (or any Windows 10 tablet, as the Microsoft Surface Keyboard is compatible with those that have Bluetooth) a more viable laptop replacement, Microsoft has created the Microsoft Surface Keyboard, which goes on sale for $99.99 (£89.99, AU$159.95).

That’s quite a bit cheaper than the Type Cover, though of course this keyboard doesn’t double as protection for your precious tablet. It’s still a bit pricey for a keyboard, but Microsoft has a pretty good reputation when it comes to making peripherals, and if it can bring a little bit of its magic to the Surface Keyboard then the price could be justified.

2017 Harley-Davidson Street Rod Preview

Suck it up all you Harley haters, and behold the new Street Rod – pretty much what we wished the original Street 750 could’ve been in 2014.

At the heart of the matter is a snarlier 60-degree SOHC V-Twin: The High Output Revolution X 750 is said to produce 18% more horsepower and 8% more torque than the standard Revolution X 750 engine, via larger airbox feeding a new dual-throat throttle body, revised four-valve cylinder heads, new high-lift camshafts and a higher-volume muffler. Compression ratio is up from 11.0:1 to 12.0:1 – and the hotter enchilada is now revvable to 9,000 rpm instead of 8,000. Extrapolating from our last 54-hp Dynojet-measured Street 750, the Street Rod should be good for about 64 horses at the rear tire and about 47 lb-ft of torque.

Model Year 2017.5 Campaign

All that would be for naught if not for significant (and very non-Harleyesque) chassis developments: Longer, piggyback reservoir shocks out back provide a full 4.6 inches of rear-wheel travel and a much more purposeful stance, while also helping reduce the rake angle all the way from 32 to 27 steepish degrees.

LG G6 vs. G5: Are the changes worth the upgrade?

LG has given its latest flagship phone, the G6, a major makeover. But the sleek new look of the G6 comes at the expense of a few useful features we will miss from last year’s G5. How does the G6 stack up against the old G5? Let us count the ways.

LG-G6-Features

Design: Now splash-friendly

The G6 has ditched the modular look for a more polished unibody metal and glass design. You won’t be able to swap in new components, but aesthetically, it’s a big step up from the G5’s clunky body. Structurally, though, it seems a bit more fragile, with two glass panels on either side.

Pure Evoke C-F6 review

With most music listening now taking place on the go on mobile apps, it’s easy to forget that, for many of a certain age, falling in love with your favorite tunes and bands first took place on the radio or stereo. Settling down with the Pure Evoke C-F6, which marries modern connectivity options with old-school CD playback, offers the best of both worlds, and is just about the best stereo system you can buy today.

dPf7H8Ut6JMnoKutBddFCU-1200-80

The list of audio sources you can tap into with the Pure Evoke C-F6 is almost overwhelming at first. Top of the feature list for many will be the inclusion of Spotify Connect, letting you control Spotify playback from your device of choice and effortlessly beam the sound direct to the Evoke C-F6. With Bluetooth streaming also supported, the only notable wireless audio omission is Google Cast, which the other two options easily pick up the slack from.

Fujifilm X-T20 review: The retro touch

When we reviewed the Fujifilm X-T10 compact system camera, we felt that its retro style was just right. Now Fuji has introduced the X-T20 which maintains that touch of retro appeal – and you can take that “touch” aspect literally, thanks to the addition of touchscreen controls this time around.

The X-T20’s arrival was no surprise, fresh off the heels of the higher-end X-T2 launch in the middle of 2016. And with that camera setting a new benchmark for mirrorless cameras, just how well does the X-T20 handle?

We got to try out a final production X-T20 ahead of launch day at a Fuji launch event to see whether this is the affordable system camera to go for.

Benchmark DAC3 HGC review

Say you want to buy a fridge. You walk into your local electrical retailer and look at the ones on offer within your budget.

After making sure it has a good Eco rating, you’ll probably open the doors, check out the space inside, wobble a few shelves and make your decision.

If it all looks and feels good you, like us, will probably buy it. And that’s without ever knowing whether it’s actually any good at cooling food.

Perceived value counts for a lot, and sometimes no matter how well a product performs there’s every chance it’ll get overlooked in favour of something that looks and feels better.

In the case of Benchmark’s DAC3 HGC that would be a shame, because this really is a top-class unit.

Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate GT review

fldatatravelerultimategt

The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate GT is more of a statement than a practical storage device. For the first time, a thumb drive — a little storage device you normally get for a few bucks and plug directly into your computer — has more storage space than most computers and costs $1,000 or more.

Indeed, the GT is available in the US in 2TB and 1TB capacities, which currently go for about $1,600 and $1,000. It’s not yet available in the UK or Australia, but those prices convert to around £1,300 and £825, or AU$2,125 and AU$1,330, respectively.

To put things in perspective, the highest capacity iPhone 7 Plus has just 256GB of storage — about a quarter of 1TB — but the phone costs just $969. There are also high-capacity ultraportable hard drives, like the Samsung T3 or the Glyph Atom, which are themselves considered expensive, yet they still cost much less than this Kingston memory stick.

Sony BRAVIA KD-65XE9005 HDR 4K TV Review

What is the Sony XE90?

The Sony XE90 or XE9005 if you want to use its full model number, is the manufacturer’s latest Ultra HD 4K TV. It’s a mid-range model, sitting below the new XE93 and XE94 in Sony’s 2017 line-up. There are four screen sizes in the range, the KD-49XE9005, the KD-55XE9005, the KD-65XE9005and the KD-75XE9005 and we’re reviewing the 65XE90 which is the 65-inch version. The XE90 naturally supports High Dynamic Range and includes Android TV but unusually for a mid-range Sony model it also includes a direct LED backlight and local dimming. Until now this combination of features has been reserved for the higher-end models like the current ZD9 and the previous XD94, which makes the XE90 an interesting proposition. It’s even more tempting when you consider that the 65XE9005 has a list price of £2,500/$3,750 as at the time of writing (March 2017), offering the potential for big screen entertainment at an affordable price point. So does the Sony 65XE90 deliver on its promise or is it too good to be true?

Emotiva Airmotiv T1 review

Today we’re witnessing a renaissance for budget home-theater components. Entry-level gear is explosively good these days, as evinced by great-sound-for-the-money offerings from companies like Elac America, Fluance and Emotiva.

emotiva-airmotiv-t1-01

While Elac is arguably the most consistent and definitely the most visible, we have also been impressed by the products we’ve seen from Emotiva. The company’s Airmotiv 4 was perhaps the best near-field/desktop speaker for the money, and its electronics are top-notch too.

Now the same can be said of its T1 tower speaker. It has that big-speaker sound that kicks butt over smaller models, with a vivid, engaging presence that belies its affordable price. Yes, the Elac Uni-Fi UF5is better still, but it is also $300 more expensive. If you want to wring the most value out of $700, then the rock’n’roll Emotiva T1s are a superlative choice.

Zmodo Torch Pro review

Zmodo’s $200 Torch Pro — roughly £165 and AU$265 converted — is actually three separate products. You get a 720p camera hidden inside a color-changing outdoor LED, a motion-detector-equipped wired doorbell and a plug-in indoor Wi-Fi range extender. All of this stuff worked pretty well with the related Android or iPhone app to keep tabs on my front door.

But there’s a big problem. The camera light is gigantic and wouldn’t fit in any of the porch lights at my house or at the CNET Smart Home. The system also doesn’t currently work with any smart home platforms and the app configuration and overall layout is confusing. The Torch Pro is an interesting concept with fine performance, but is ultimately much too unwieldy to recommend.

flzmodotorch20

A big idea

The Zmodo Torch Pro security light clocks in at 5.51 inches tall and 2.95 inches wide. Rather than having a traditional tapered shape, this light is roughly the same width from top to bottom — with the exception of its smaller E26 socket. For this reason, it simply won’t fit into most small- or medium-sized outdoor light fixtures.

Dell Vostro 15 3568 review – cheap Intel Core (Kaby Lake)-powered notebook with some trade-offs

Here we are with another alteration of the ultra-affordable Vostro laptops from Dell. Last time we reviewed one of these, the Vostro 3559 to be exact, and found quite a few flaws, despite the relatively low price. With the newly updated 3568, however, we hope there won’t be so many shortcomings to be taken into consideration.

One thing is for sure, though, the chassis is absolutely identical so we are bound to see some of the issues here as well. In any case, it’s good to see the new Kaby Lake processors from Intel popping out in the entry-level segment of the market. The configuration we are currently testing features a Core i5-7200U CPU and a discrete graphics card from AMD – the Radeon R5 M420X for just around €400-450. Absurd, right? Well, there are a few trade-offs you have to be willing to accept along the way. Here’s our thought on the product.

Logitech G Pro Keyboard Review : Tournament-Grade

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Logitech G Pro Keyboard Review : Tournament-Grade

Numpads are passé. While the extra set of numerals can come in handy for touch typists, retail clerks and data-entry specialists, gamers are starting to realize that the far-right number keys don’t do a whole lot to benefit gameplay, especially in the burgeoning e-sports market. The Logitech G Pro keyboard ($130) costs a bundle, but it delivers a robust, colorful tenkeyless keyboard that’s perfectly suited to the tournament scene. Everyday gamers can get a cheaper keyboard that feels just as good and does just as much, but for times when space is at a premium, either at a convention or in your home, the G Pro absolutely nails the small keyboard design.

Design

The G Pro looks like what would happen if Logitech were to take one of its sleek Orion keyboards and simply chop off the numpad with some kind of high-tech paper cutter. It has a full selection of keys (minus the numpad), in addition to a key that controls the lighting and one that activates a Game Mode. If you’re not familiar with Game Mode, it prevents you from clicking keys such as Alt-Tab or the Windows button, so that you won’t accidentally shut down your game midway.

Huawei P8 Lite 2017 review : Can slick looking pretender match Moto?

Despite stiff competition, the P8 Lite 2017 is a good budget smartphone

The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is a dual-SIM smartphone that features a 5.2in Full HD display, a fingerprint reader and an octa-core processor, and runs on Android 7 Nougat. Its price? £185. In fact, you can even find it for as low as £149 if you get with a Vodafone PAYG SIM, which makes it a pretty good deal.

This is nothing new, however, and the competition at this price is fierce, with handsets such as the slinky Honor 6X (£225), the long-lasting Lenovo P2 (£200) and the all-round excellent Moto G4 2016 (£150) all making a strong case. Can the Huawei P8 Lite step in and provide another solid alternative?

Sennheiser CX 5.00i review

What’s the most important battle in the headphones market? It’s not the one between £1000 pairs only those with second homes and stock portfolios can afford.

Instead it’s the fight to be first among the sort of headphones you might buy when you choose to upgrade from the freebies that came with your phone.

In that case, these Sennheiser CX 5.00is stand a chance of winning this particular scrap. These earphones cost £50 and are a significant upgrade over the old Sennheiser CX500s, not least in the style stakes.

Until the SoundMagic E10s came along, the Sennheiser CX300s and CX500s were an easy-to-recommend upgrade for those on a tight budget. They were little, rounded buds that looked fairly cheap, but did the crucial job of upgrading your sound.

Sengled Snap review

Smart lighting specialist, Sengled, has added a wireless IP camera to its energy efficient lamp to create a staggeringly simple security system (priced at £180 – around $220, AU$290). In fact, the combination seems so logical, we’re surprised there aren’t more such products in this category. Anyone looking for a security light will surely be happy to find they can also see and record the people approaching their property.

LHsiQ4WqKnq3xApWdXPVp3-650-80

There is, however, one catch that should be pointed out before we go any further. The light does not come on when you approach, as the motion sensors only trigger the camera. More on this later.
