2017 Mercedes SLC-Class RedArt Edition Review

The Mercedes-AMG GT may be grabbing all the headlines these days, and for good reason. The whole family of GT models are incredible and whatever attention they get is well-deserved. But let’s not forget about this fact either. The AMG GTs are not the only sports cars Mercedes has in its lineup. One of them, the Mercedes SLC-Class, receives far less attention, but let it still be said, the SLC-Class still holds some weight as a solid sports car so it’s only fitting that it’s finally getting the attention it deserves in the form of the SLC-Class RedArt Edition.

Yes, the SLC-Class is getting a special edition model and it’s a well deserved one at that. It’s time Mercedes’ entry-level roadster got some of that SE love, right? Better late than never then because here it is, and even better, the RedArt Edition is not limited to a specific trim of the SLC-Class but instead is available to the whole lot of them. That includes the SLC 180, 200, 250d, 300, and for good measure, the AMG SLC43 too.
