It’s easy to forget that Samsung announced a fourth S10 model alongside the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will arrive later in the year, but will be the most feature-packed smartphone in the range. So how exactly does it differ to the regular Galaxy S10?

2019 Subaru BRZ Review

Combining a lightweight, perfectly balanced body with a high-reving boxer engine, the 2019 Subaru BRZ is a driving enthusiast’s dream. Unlike every other car and SUV in the Subaru’s lineup, the BRZ is powered solely by its rear wheels and doesn’t offer the option of all-wheel drive. The reason for this anomaly is that the BRZ is the culmination of a joint venture between Subaru and Toyota, with Subaru providing much of the mechanicals including the flat four boxer engine and 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Microsoft HoloLens 2: It’s better, but it’s still not for me and you

MWC 2019: It’s built for business, but that’s okay. For now

When Microsoft demoed the first HoloLens almost four years ago, it had Minecraft. For my demo of HoloLens 2, there were no games at all. That’s because in its second coming, Microsoft’s holographic headset is all about business.

By that I mean it’s aimed at industries like healthcare and construction because – places the technology is being best put to use right now. At least, that’s what Microsoft believes. So that’s why, when it’s finally my time to try out the new HoloLens, I’m met with a choice of demos which includes collaborations with education company Pearson and Bentley Systems, a company the provides software solutions for engineers and architects.

Beyerdynamic DT 880 PRO Review

Audiophiles looking for a set of at-home cans should definitely check out the Beyerdynamic DT 880 PRO. Durable and time-tested, these are a great set of cans… if you’re not sensitive to treble peaks, that …

High-end headphones can be a bit of a crapshoot, especially if you’re buying online. With so many options out there now, many people rely on older companies that have been around the block a few times to deliver them to audio nirvana. Beyerdynamic is one of those older players, with an absolutely legendary line of cans and many, many years of design experience. But is the open-back DT 880 PRO right for you? Now that’s a good question.

Qualcomm’s next Snapdragon chip suggests 2020 really will be the year of 5G phones

Phones with processors that have 5G built inside won’t appear on store shelves until next year, raising raising critical questions about when to buy a 5G phone.

Qualcomm just provided another reason why you should wait until at least 2020 before investing in a 5G phone. We already know the carriers won’t be able to deliver anything close to widespread 5G mobile service this year. The infrastructure just won’t be ready. But Qualcomm’s first Snapdragon processor with integrated 5G support won’t appear in phones until 2020, either.

Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1660 Ti review: GTX is back with a vengeance

Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is the best 1080p GPU you can buy, and Asus’s versatile ROG Strix design makes it even better.

GTX is back, baby. After being kicked to the curb in favor of a new “RTX” brand that signifies the inclusion of dedicated RT and tensor cores that enable real-time ray tracing and AI-enhanced gaming, Nvidia’s tried-and-true mainstay returns for the release of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. Yes, that means this $280-plus GPU lacks the cutting-edge capabilities of its bigger siblings, like the GeForce RTX 2060. But by ditching all the extra hardware, Nvidia was able to focus the GTX 1660 Ti’s efforts on just plain kicking ass in games.

Momentum Aria LED Floodlight with Wi-Fi Camera review: Cheap, but far from the best value

This camera/floodlight combo will save you a few bucks, but you’ll give up a lot.

Camera/floodlight combos are terrific because they provide home security via both lighting and video surveillance. But you’ll find better executions of this concept than the Momentum Aria.

Selling for less than $170 at Amazon and Home Depot, the Momentum Aria is a bit cheaper than more established competitors like the Maximus Camera Floodlight (our current top pick in this category) and the Ring Floodlight Cam, but that doesn’t make it a strong value.

Bluesound Pulse Mini 2i review: Great sound, plus Alexa and AirPlay 2 support

This second-generation speaker is smarter, more capable, and better-sounding than the model it replaces.

Though nearly identical physically to its predecessor, the Pulse Mini, the Bluesound Pulse Mini 2i sounds significantly better. In fact, this is one of the best single-cabinet stereo speakers I’ve heard. Add support for Alexa, AirPlay 2, and the versatility of the BluOS multi-room system, and the $499 Pulse Mini 2i is a Bluetooth speaker to be reckoned with.

Porsche’s next-generation Macan crossover will be fully electric, the automaker has announced today, with the upcoming compact SUV bypassing gas and diesel engines altogether. The new Macan will be produced at Porsche’s Leipzig site, the same location that the company will manufacturer the upcoming Taycan sports EV sedan.

The Porsche Taycan will be the automaker’s first all-electric model. Taking on Tesla’s Model S, the car – arguably still better known by its former Mission-E codename – will feature 800V charging for super-fast battery recharge, and come with three years of free charging access to Electrify America stations across the US.

2020 McLaren 720S Spider first drive review: World-class performance with a view

Arizona State Route 87 is filled with stunning views of mountains and rolling desert terrain. The blue skies, sunshine and 65-degree temperature are a welcome change of pace from the cold, snowy, dreary winter I’ve been dealing with at home in Michigan. The only thing better than the weather is that I get to enjoy it from the driver’s seat of McLaren’s outstanding 720S Spider.

Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder loses roof but not the 640hp V10

Lamborghini has sliced the top off one of its most potent cars, with the Huracán EVO Spyder promising extreme performance with no roof to get in the way. Sibling to the Huracán EVO coupe that made its debut in January, the new convertible will headline Lamborghini’s news at the Geneva Motor Show 2019 next week.

Like the coupe, the Spyder packs a 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine. That’s been finessed and tweaked to deliver 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, and 590 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Denon AVR-X4500H review

It is often said that those who crave power are the least deserving of it, but Denon doesn’t adhere to that tenet. What we like and what we don’t like about the Nokia 9 PureView

With five cameras in tow in a spider-like design, the Nokia 9 PureView from HMD Global stands out from the crowd of smartphones coming out of Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The five cameras work in unison to produce photos rich with information, which you can then edit to your heart’s content as the phone provides RAW files alongside traditional JPEG ones. It’s meant for photo enthusiasts, not necessarily a mainstream audience, which may partly be why it’s a limited edition phone.

2020 Toyota Corolla first drive review: A better value in the compact sedan space

The Baader-Meinhof effect, also called the frequency illusion, says that when you focus on something, suddenly you’ll notice it all around you. It happens to car reviewers all the time: Evaluate a Jeep Wrangler and all of a sudden there’s one on every street corner. Research a minivan and you spot one in every parking lot. But with the Toyota Corolla, well, it’s not an illusion. The car really is everywhere.

2020 Kia Soul first drive review: The best little box, made better

After two successful generations, the plucky Kia Soul has outlasted all of its original competitors, from the Scion xB to the Honda Element, Nissan’s Cube and more. The boxy hatchback’s balance of sharp style, competitive features and great value made it a fast favorite, but it’s Kia’s knack for improving the Soul without changing what we love about it that has allowed this challenger to weather the years better than the more established competition.

HP ProBook 440 G6 review – budget device for the workaholics

Another year has passed and yet another ProBook generation appears on the computer market. HP’s new ProBook 440 G6 looks like a breed between the ProBook 440 G5 and the more premium EliteBook 840 G5. This indeed can result in an overall better product than last year’s model.

ProBook 440 G6 features a choice of Intel’s latest Whiskey Lake ULV chips and provides you with the option of dedicated GPU in the form of GeForce MX130. We are clearly noticing a trend in the ProBooks to use the older spec GPUs. Last year ProBook 440 G5 was equipped with the GeForce 930MX and now the MX130 feels a little yesterday on the brink of MX230’s official reveal. Nevertheless, we don’t expect any major difference between them so baffling about it would be pointless. Either way, the classier ProBook 440 G6 is still made with business in mind and its neutral look is surely going to attract more than it is going to push you away from it.
