Intel describes Optane Memory M15 as a 2nd-generation version of the original Optane Memory M10 released last year. Optane Memory exists mostly as a caching-style technology that helps speed up the responsiveness of your most commonly accessed files on larger hard drives and SSDs. 2020 MINI COOPER S ‘E’ SPIED UNDISGUISED

German-owned British marque’s first all-electric model spotted during a promotional shoot, showing its concept-inspired design elements.

Unofficially dubbed the ‘Mini Cooper S E’ – a similar naming structure to the plug-in hybrid Countryman – the first series production all-electric Mini looks very much like the regular 3 Door Hatch with tacked on bits from the 2017 Mini Electric concept.

Yamaha R-S202D review : This budget amp could be just what your system needs

For a while, we’ve struggled for any great wealth of budget stereo amplifiers we can wholeheartedly recommend. Yamaha appears to have taken it upon itself to expand that list in recent months, and its latest integrated amplifier, the R-S202D, is another welcome example.

In most other situations the term ‘budget’ might signify a stripping back of features or a scaling down of the attention to detail, but the R-S202D is only budget in terms of its price tag.

Ricoh announces minor 1.11 firmware update for its GR III camera system

Ricoh has released firmware version 1.11 for its GR III camera. It’s not a major update, but if you own a GR III, it’s still worth your time to update it.

According to the changelog, firmware version 1.11, an upgrade from 1.10, corrects an issue where playing back a movie on the camera caused the frame rate to drop, as well as an issue where the incorrect firmware was displayed when the GR III was plugged into a macOS computer. Intel’s Concept Touchpad Lets You Control Apps on a Closed Laptop

After finally prying my eyes off Intel’s unusual dual-screen laptops, I stumbled across yet another concept that could signal the end of the laptop as we know it.

Glowing on the front edge of an unnamed laptop, Project Ambient is what Intel believes will be the touchpad, or touchbar, of the future. I say glowing because curved around the front edge of the prototype is an OLED panel displaying a row of apps.
