Dell Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1 (3379) Review

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Dell Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1 (3379) Review

If you use your laptop to give presentations or want to get some work done on a tablet, a 2-in-1 is the device for you. The Dell Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1 ($699 to start; $899 as reviewed) gives you the flexibility to work in four different modes and includes USB Type-C for the latest peripherals. But Dell’s 2-in-1 has a lousy keyboard and stiff touchpad that make using it as a laptop a chore, and it doesn’t have the same durability testing that most business competitors offer.

Samyang Premium MF 14mm f/2.4 Lens Review

Samyang 14mm F2,4 Front Oblique View

Samyang are well established as a manufacturer of well made, reasonably priced lenses. The new 14mm f/2.4 and 85mm f/1.2 lenses are a new venture, forming the start of a Premium Lens range where the objective is to produce the highest quality optics. Let’s look first at the 14mm f/2.4, put it through its paces and see how it lives up to the intent.

Handling and Features

Ultra wide lenses are easily spotted, with their huge front elements and domed glass. In this instance the petal lens hood is fixed and offers substantial protection to that vulnerable front element. There is no possibility of fitting filters. The large plastic lens cap clips on precisely and is unlikely to accidentally fall off. The bulbous appearance of the front of the lens is rather unusual, but the smooth contours are an attractive design. The lens is full frame, covering the 35mm-format. It is manual focus only, but it does have electronic contacts to control the aperture via the camera.

Vivo V5 Initial Hands-on Review: Contender for the Selfie Crown?

[su_youtube url=”https://youtu.be/sxvqgQFUKYg”]

Today, Vivo Philippines unveiled the successor to the Vivo V3 — the Vivo V5. The new device from the Chinese brand features a 20-megapixel front camera, making it a serious contender for the selfie crown. Here’s a bit of trivia if you’re wondering why there was a sudden leap in the naming convention from the V3 straight to the V5: the number 4 is an unlucky number in Chinese culture, but I digress.

Let’s dive in into this initial review for the Vivo V5 by first taking a look at its spec sheet.

Vivo V5 Specifications

Asus ZenPad 3S 10 Review

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Asus ZenPad 3S 10 Review

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is a 9.7-inch tablet made for Android users who don’t want to compromise on performance or design. The $299 slate’s aluminum shell and metallic, beveled edges may look straight out of Cupertino, but it runs a lightly skinned version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The ZenPad 3S 10 is lightning fast, and its bright, brilliant display and luxe design make this tablet a strong choice — that is, if you’re willing to live with its unimpressive cameras.

Design: iPad-esque

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 comes in two color palettes: titanium gray with a black bezel, and glacier silver with a white bezel. We tested the gray model, which looks quite attractive. The black on its bezel is so close to the color of the screen that, when it’s asleep, the front looks like a solid-black panel.

Hands on: Blu Vivo 6 review

There are a lot of manufacturers looking toward the low priced yet premium phone space, but Blu is one of the only companies trying to do that from within the US.

Founded in 2009, Blu has been impressing Americans with its range of devices – which are designed in the country but manufactured in China – over the last few years. The Blu Vivo 6 marks the very first time the brand has come to the UK and it’s exclusively available on this side of the pond.

It’s a high-end phone too, with a lower price than you may expect from just looking at the handset.

Blu Vivo 6 price and release date

You can buy the Vivo 6 right now from Amazon, but only in the UK currently. Amazon is the only site the phone is available from and it usually costs £239.99/$359.99, but if you buy it on Black Friday it’ll only be £184.99/$277.49.

HOVER CAMERA PASSPORT DRONE REVIEW

Drones have evolved rather quickly in the past few years, but lately we seem to be entering a new era. Instead of stuffing drones with every feature known to man, manufacturers are starting to build them with features and specs that are targeted toward for a particular type of use — like racing, FPV, or filmmaking. The Hover Camera Passport from ZeroZero Robotics is a prime example of this trend. Instead of being a jack-of-all-trades, this drone is built specifically for the purpose of taking selfies and follow footage — so we took it out for a couple weeks of selfie-ing to see how it stacks up against some of the more full-featured drones on the market.

Standout Features & Specs

The single most significant feature on the Passport is definitely its foldable design. We’ll delve into the nitty gritty details in a moment, but for now we’ll just say that this is one of the most portable drones we’ve ever encountered — and that’s no accident. It’s intentionally built to fit inside a backpack or purse, so it’s always with you whenever you need it.

2017 Nissan GT-R Review: Supercar for the people

The 2017 Nissan GT-R is not a supercar that asks you to put down a deposit and wait your turn. It doesn’t require that you be a previous Nissan owner to buy one, or that you be vetted by a team of brand gatekeepers to determine whether you’re worth of GT-R stewardship. You don’t have to accept exotic hybrid technologies to tap into what the GT-R has to offer, nor does it come with an elaborate maintenance schedule and a pair of white gloves that you must wear each and every time you slip behind the wheel. Instead, it simply kicks enormous amounts of ass, and invites you to come along for the ride.

Although no longer the steal it was when first introduced all the way back in the 2009 model year, the six-figure Nissan GT-R still punches well above its weight when compared against the usual suspects on the high performance scene. If you’re shopping numbers alone, for $109,990 the GT-R delivers 60-mph from a standing start in an astonishing 2.9 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 196 miles per hour. How it manages to overachieve in each of these categories is what sets the Nissan GT-R apart from its rivals – few of which, aside from the comparatively inexpensive Chevrolet Corvette Z06, can match its performance without tacking on tens of thousands of dollars to the window sticker.

XMG Sector2 review

German firm XMG is better known for its laptops, but the Sector2 marks a fresh foray into desktop PCs. With competitive gaming on the rise, it makes sense – but is this machine perfect for League of Legends and DOTA?

Design

There’s no mistaking this machine’s brand. The XMG logo is on the smart front panel, and that’s not all – the XMG lettering is found on the internal fans, and on the Corsair Hydro H115i cooler’s CPU waterblock.

rlwq3gby4bmfcy4dt3zbxp-650-80

The branding isn’t just about those three letters – it’s colours, too. The Fractal Design Define S enclosure’s smart side panels are black, and every bit of detail is finished in green. On the outside, that means the logos on the USB and audio jacks are green, alongside the air intake slats down the front.

Philips Fidelio M2L review

Apple only ditched the headphone jack a few months ago, but Philips has been touting a pair of Lightning-connector headphones in its line up for a lot longer.

What once seemed like a pretty niche product, now seems ahead of the curve.

Build

If the Fidelio M2L look familiar, that’ll be because they cut a remarkably similar shape to their wireless M2BT stablemates.

Of course, these are very much wired and proud, sporting the Lightning connector and their own 24-bit DAC and amp.

They’re an on-ear fit with a leather and aluminium design, and memory foam earcups.

ViewSonic XG2703-GS Review : Colorful, and Expensive

The ViewSonic XG2703-GS ($700) boasts an attractive array of colors, lots of helpful presets, G-Sync capabilities and crisp quad-HD resolutions. However, you’ll have to live with a confusing menu system, abstruse volume controls and a high price tag that may leave you scratching your head. If you’ve got the money, and your PC isn’t quite powerful enough for 4K gaming, the XG2703-GS gets the job done, although it shouldn’t be the only quad-HD monitor you consider.

Design

The XG2703-GS verges on the cusp of overdesign, though it still manages to look cool rather than garish. The 27-inch monitor is a plain black rectangle with a small green highlight on top, and a large stand with LED lighting. The illumination defaults to an innocuous white and green, although you can add reds and yellows in the system menu if you prefer something a little bolder. While the stand is much larger than it really needs to be — probably to accommodate the lights — it’s still a pretty monitor that doesn’t draw too much attention away from whatever you’re doing onscreen.

Sony MDR-XB50BS review

Sony’s new MDR-XB50BS Extra Bass Sports Wireless in-ear headphone is worth considering for a few reasons: Not only is it relatively inexpensive at around $60 online (£60 or AU$130), but just as importantly it fits well and sounds good, particularly if you listen to bass-heavy music.

sony-sports-wireless-mdr-xb50bs-01

A bit clunky-looking, it isn’t the smallest in-ear wireless headphone, with a footprint around the size of the Beats Powerbeats3 Wireless (which is, in turn, three times more expensive). However, it’s fairly lightweight, and fit me better than the Powerbeats3, though the Powerbeats3′ ear hooks are beneficial in keeping the earphones on your ears.

The MDR-XB50BS comes with a few different size fins and eartips, and I was able to get a nice tight seal with the large size of both, and that seal was crucial for maximizing bass performance. This is a noise-isolating headphone and it does passively muffle ambient noise pretty well, so you won’t be able to hear traffic while you’re running if you’re playing your music even at moderate volume levels.

Polk MagniFi Mini review

If the prospect of a traditional home-theater setup with a half-dozen speakers and a bulky receiver doesn’t thrill you, you may want to a consider a sound bar. These small speakers are discreet, easy to set up, and sound much better than your TV’s speakers. And they don’t come smaller or better-sounding for the money than the Polk MagniFi Mini.

Flexible and affordable, it sounds adept with both movies and music and includes some must-have features. The best is Google Cast, which enables easy streaming from your phone, works with numerous music apps, and even make the MagniFi Mini part of a whole-house music setup. While I found the Mini’s connectivity a bit quirky, it’s nonetheless an excellent buy.

Everything small is big again. While some gadgets have grown in size, like TVs and cell phones, the prevailing trend in the AV world is toward smaller devices. It applies to everything from Blu-ray playersto receivers to sound bars .

Promate BoltQC 9000mAh QC 3.0 Power Bank Hands-On Review

Power banks are very common nowadays and there are plenty to choose from depending on your needs. What separates these power banks though are capacity, price, and features. In the case of the Promate BoltQC, it boasts a 9000mAh capacity with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. Check out our hands-on below.

The Promate BoltQC looks like your typical power bank – small, brick-like, and hefty. It has a cool metal body in matte gold paint job with plastic top and bottom. Placed on the front are four LED power indicators as well as brand’s printed logo and Quick Charge 3.0 branding.\

Right up top are two USB output ports – one is a regular USB port with a 2.4A output while the other is the Quick Charge 3.0 port for Snapdragon-powered devices that support the said feature. Also found here is the microUSB input port for charging the power bank, and the multi-function button.

Audio Pro Addon T5 review

Paycheques, RAM, pizzas – all these things prove the adage that bigger is better.

Addon appears to have taken a similar approach to its Audio Pro T5 wireless speaker, which looks like a beefed-up version of the Audio Pro T3.

The company’s T3 wireless speaker was a recent What Hi-Fi? Award-winner in the sub-£200/$300 category, earning praise for its comfortable and communicative sound.

It’s fair to say that expectations are high for the similarly-priced T5, which is just a bit bigger, but doesn’t have the T3’s portability.

Polar M200 review : An affordable, unassuming watch that does more than you’d think

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming look – the Polar M200 is a capable budget running watch, especially when working with Polar’s training program. If you’re someone who’s looking to get more serious about their running, but conscious of budget, this is a good place to start. But the looks do betray the daily activity tracking features, as you’re unlikely to keep it on your wrist once your workout is done.

As someone’s who getting serious about running again, I think a lot can be said for simplicity. When it comes to finding a running watch I want something that delivers as much useful and accurate information for as little faff as possible. To that end, the Polar M200 answers my call: it works independently of my smartphone, it has GPS built in, it doesn’t require charging after every run, and the interface is relatively easy to navigate.

Dell OptiPlex 7040 review – mini business configuration with great capabilities

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Dell OptiPlex 7040 review – mini business configuration with great capabilities

Throughout the last couple of months we had the chance to test some of the best desktop components currently out there – GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. Of course, we should also mention the In Win 904 Black computer case and Crucial’s RAM modules, all of which we like to refer to as “heavy hardware”. Today, however, we would like to address the users who are after security and quality that can be found in Dell OptiPlex 7040 MT (Mini Tower).

The American company is mostly famous for its business products – both mobile and desktop ones. Of course, we should not forget Alienware, a daughter company which offers an separate product line of gaming machines. OptiPlex, on the other hand, is a series characterized mainly by compact dimensions and wide variety of processors, offering really high computing performance. Depending on the configuration, you can find models with Pentium or Core i7 chips.

Sony SRS-ZR7 review

The Sony SRS-7RZ is a three-star speaker. Now, if you’re the sort of person who has to have the best, you can stop reading. This wireless speaker isn’t going to make it past your front door.

But if you’re interested in the details of a product and want to map the peaks and troughs of this speaker like a cartographer might explore terra nova, then read on.

There’s quite a lot that this speaker does well, its only failing is that its sound isn’t up to the best at its price.

Aesthetically, the SRS-ZR7 is a sleek speaker.

The minimalist design will fit most households, apart from possibly a log cabin or Elizabethan manor house, and at 1.8kg it’s pretty light too.

BMW M4 Competition v Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe road comparison

The choice between the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe is an extremely difficult one. Not because both cars are excellent overall, but because they are so different.

Having previously compared the M3 against the C 63 S sedan, the reason for this two-door comparison was rather simple. The difference between the C63 S sedan and coupe is rather massive, both in terms of its suspension set-up and its general offering. Meanwhile, the M4 performance takes the level of hardcore from the Bavarian brand yet another step forward.

BMW M4 Competition v Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe road comparison

This comparison is broken up in to two parts, the first of which is the road test, followed next month by the track test. Usually we would conduct the road test and then ask a pro driver to do the track times, this time though, we decided to do it differently.

LENOVO PHAB 2 PRO Review : Lenovo’s Monster Phone Delivers the Future of AR Now

I used to think that there was no such thing as smartphone that was too big. And then came the $499 Phab 2 Pro. However, there’s a method to the Phab 2 Pro’s massiveness: It’s the first phone to feature Google’s Project Tango technology, delivering augmented reality without forcing you to strap on a headset or goggles.

Using a trio of specialized cameras, sensors and software, the Phab 2 Pro can map 3D space, measure depth and track location for an augmented-reality experience unlike anything you’ve seen before. This is a phone that can redecorate your house, let you design a car and explore a spooky mansion, just by hitting a button. (Beat that, Pokémon Go!)

And when you’re not busy augmenting your view, the Phab 2 Pro offers smooth performance and a bright display, which makes for a good — if oversize — multimedia device.

Sigma 12-24mm F4 DG HSM Art Lens Review

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Sigma 12-24mm F4 DG HSM Art Lens Review

The Sigma 12-24mm F4 DG HSM Art was first announced September 16th, 2016. This is Sigma’s widest zoom lens offering to date and joins Sigma’s growing list of Art lenses. The lens is priced at just under $1600, which makes it a fierce competitor to Canon’s EF 11-24mm F4L USM lens which is priced at just under $3,000.

The Sigma is available in Canon, Nikon F (FX) and Sigma SA Bayonet mounts and will most likely appeal to landscape and architecture photographers that are looking for an extremely wide field-of-view (12mm gives around a 122° diagonal field of view).

The looming question is: does the extreme difference in price effect the build quality and performance of the Sigma? In this review we will be looking at the Sigma’s performance and just how it stacks up against the Canon 11-24mm F4L.

LG 38UC99 38-INCH 21:9 IPS MONITOR REVIEW

In the land of big monitors, the ultrawide is king – or at least, we think so. These 21:9 panels boast impressive resolution, immersive curves, and more workspace than you’re used to from a single panel. The most common we’ve seen are 2,560 x 1,080 panels, or more impressive 34-inch displays with 3,440 x 1,440 resolution.

lg-38uc99-monitor-main-800x533-c

But LG is taking things to a new level with the massive 38-inch 38UC99, boasting 3,840 x 1,600 resolution, and a 75Hz refresh rate, with FreeSync support. At a glance, the 38UC99 is both massive and impressive, something we don’t usually say about computer monitors.

There’s nothing else like it on the market right now, with its only competition coming from the aforementioned ultrawide panels at half the price, such as the Samsung S34E790C, Dell’s U3415W, and LG’s own 34UC98. But is this extravagant display worth its $1,500 MSRP, or will smaller screens suffice?

2017 Ducati Monster 1200 First Ride Review

The principality of Monaco is an imbecilic location for a motorcycle ride. After all, the independent microstate on the French Riviera isn’t even twice as big as the Dodger Stadium grounds, and its teeny little streets are crammed almost solid with a cornucopia of vehicles from two-stroke scooters to the apparently riotously amusing Renault Twizys to exotic McLarens to horrifyingly huge Rollers.

Then again, if the stats are true and 30% of its population are millionaires, I suppose many people in this odd little place wouldn’t be frightened by paying around $15,000 for an expensive Italian toy like Ducati’s freshly revampedMonster 1200. Enticed by power and style and the magical mountain roads just a few miles away from the coast, an intrepid Monacoian might think the biggest Monster would make a perfect fit parked in the garage next to a Ferrari.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E300 review

Looking at a list of midsize luxury sedan manufacturers is like holding roll call for the UN. You can get your high-class on with the Japanese, British, Americans, Koreans or Swedes, but today we’re talking German luxury. More specifically, Mercedes-Benz richness in the form of the 2017 E300.

The E-class, long a top seller in the segment, routinely sells more than the BMW 5-series, the Audi A6 and Cadillac CTS. In fact, the only luxury sedan that sold more units in 2014 and 2015 is the Lexus ES. Deutschland, Deutschland almost über alles.

For its 10th generation, the E-class offers a whole new look and a massive amount of technology, adding good looks to affluent comfort, resulting in a sumptuous ride indeed. This overhaul likely won’t hurt its sales position.
