What if Andromeda competed with Galaxy Note 9?

If the Microsoft Surface “pocketable” device Andromeda really was meant to be pocket-friendly, could it take on Galaxy Note 9? Imagine Microsoft came seemingly out of nowhere with a device as elegant and simple as the design you see above – that’s the “Andromeda” device that leaked (again) earlier today. What would Samsung do? They’d have to go back and check up on their Galaxy X, for starters.

The Samsung Galaxy X, x likely representing the unknown and/or the number 10, was rumored to be a smartphone/tablet hybrid sort of device with a pocket-friendly size and a foldable display.

Misfit Command review : Misfit takes another swing at the hybrid

The Misfit Command sports a beautiful, fun-to-wear design that’s also eye catching, and there are enough smarts here to actually be helpful. Misfit Link is bound to your own creativity, while the notification support is great for getting simple information quickly. It won’t rock your world when it comes to activity tracking however’ you’ll get the basics, nothing more. Despite the good smarts, there are some integrations, like Speedo and Harmony, that also appear to be broken.

Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Review

Sony SRS-XB41 Portable Wireless Bluetooth: Detailed Review

Sony has a legacy of making great audio products. There was a time (maybe a long long time ago) when a Sony music system could be found in practically every household. As the years passed and Apple’s iPod revolutionized how we consume music, Sony’s dominance started to slip out of its grasp. However, thanks to the digital revolution and the need for everything “wireless,” Sony is making somewhat of a comeback. The SRS XB41 is Sony’s portable Bluetooth speaker designed for the bass heads out there.

G-SHOCK Mudmaster GG1000-1A: The Watch For The Unrelenting Road Ahead

Whether you ride a tarmac-gripping hog or a hill-climbing Honda Africa Twin, you still seek the pleasure of a black twisted road, or the thrill and spill of the sandy dunes and rocky shores, pitched beneath a perfect blue sky.

Whatever your own particular bike hedonia, a life on the open road with its dust, grit, stones, terrain bumps and thumps and perpetual exposure to the elements is no environment for an ordinary watch – and you do need a watch because checking your cell on a motorcycle is a really bad idea.

Huawei P20 VS Honor 10 Camera Shootout: Should You Pay More?

Which one wins?

Many people like to describe the Honor 10 as the poor man’s Huawei P20. With the same processor, camera setup and AI-powered shooting smarts, the phone sounds like a cheaper version of the P20, sans Leica branding.

Cobra Drive HD Dash 2316D review: Dual cameras, neat features, poor night video

This affordable dual-camera system captures daytime scenes nicely, but night video is below average.

Two years on from the 895HD, the Drive HD DASH 2316D offers only minor improvements, and none concern the video, which is weak by today’s ever-rising standards. The iRadar app is useful, but GPS is only an option. To our mind, the cheaper 895HD (if you can find it) is still the better deal.

Five Things You Need To Know About The KTM RC390

Orange you glad it’s even sportier than before

KTM updated this little rascal for 2017, but we’re just now getting our hands on the new bike. Basically it’s got even more of the things we liked and less of the ones we didn’t – more accel and decel, and therefore the RC’s an even bigger bargain than before if minimalist corner-carving is your thing.

More Power

KTM doesn’t come out and say the new RC (actually it was upgraded for 2017) has more power. All they say is the bike has a new side-mount exhaust system and revised settings – but our dyno doesn’t lie. T

Aune S6 Review : warm, thick, impressive low end grunt

Rating Disclaimer: ratings are subjective. Audio quality and value do not mean the same thing across all prices. A headphone with a 5 rating on audio at $5 does not have equivalent sound quality as a 5 rating at $500. Likewise, value at $5 is not the same as value at $5000 dollars.

Introduction

I started my relationship with Aune Audio (Ai Lo Er Science and Development Co., ltd.) via proxy. Penon Audio had announced on Facebook that the Aune M1s was coming out, and I thought it sounded like a just about perfect budget DAP.

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S First Impressions

For well over a month now, I’ve been using the Lenovo IdeaPad 530Sextensively, a fine multimedia laptop in a classy thin-and-light form factor. Now, hours after the Lenovo Ultraslim Laptops launch, I’m staring at the IdeaPad 330S, the little sister to the IdeaPad 530S. At first glance it’s easy to mistake one for the other; the IdeaPad 330S and the IdeaPad 530S look positively identical. But picking the new laptop up and turning it round and round in the hand reveals the differences in dimensions, and build quality.

Xiaomi Mi 8 First Impressions: Not just another iPhone X lookalike

2018 has seen a lot of smartphones try and ape the iPhone X. The notch, the vertical dual cameras and in some cases, even the construction and design. Well, no other phone comes close to being the Android-iPhone X as the Xiaomi Mi 8. Xiaomi’s flagship for this year blatantly copies Apple’s marquee device but that doesn’t necessarily take anything away from it. In fact, the Mi 8 felt quite powerful for the few minutes I had it in my hand at MWC Shanghai 2018. The Mi 8 this time packs a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED panel of full HD resolution with the new 19:9 aspect ratio. The extra real estate is there thanks to the notch.

Honda has revealed the 2019 Pilot and 2019 HR-V, adding more tech and more active safety systems to one of its largest, and one of its smallest, cars. The model year 2019 refresh means that the automaker now offers Honda Sensing, its suite of driver-assistance and safety technology, either as standard or as an option across its entire range.

In the case of the 2019 Honda Pilot, the eight-passenger SUV gets new exterior styling to make it a little more aggressive. Honda Sensing – which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, road departure mitigation, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warnings, and forward collision warnings – is now standard across all Pilot trims.

Volvo’s most exciting car of the year will only be offered in depressingly minute numbers, the automaker has confirmed, with sightings of the 2019 S60 T8 Polestar Engineered on the road set to be rarer than a Ferrari or McLaren. Announced alongside the all-new S60 sedan earlier this month, the car will be the first of a new breed of Volvo vehicles given a thorough fettling by the Polestar team.

2018 Audi Q2 v Volvo XC40 Comparison : Two small, chic luxury crossovers out of Europe duke it out

From our vantage point, there’s barely a volume carmaker of note without a small crossover SUV – a high-riding hatchback with attitude designed for young up-and-comers and well-funded downsizers in equal measure.

Two of the most obvious and well-credentialled options are tested here, the familiar Audi Q2 – a more playful and chic alternative to the grown-up Q3 – and the relatively new-on-the-scene Volvo XC40, a veritable frisson on wheels for any fan of all things Swedish (aided by China).

Nokia X6 First Impressions: Tries too hard to fit in

The Nokia X6 that launched in China last month is the Finnish brand’s first phone with a notch. The naming of the device is once again a throwback to Nokia’s glorious past. The X6 back then was a class-leading mobile phone with a touchscreen TFT display. Fast forward to 2018, it is now the first Nokia with a display notch. Not that it makes the phone any special. The market is flooded with phones that sport the notch. To be frank, despite all the hype and excitement around the phone’s impending launch in India, the Nokia X6 left me quite disappointed for the little time I got to play with it on the MWC Shanghai 2018 show floor.

Lenovo IdeaPad 530S Review

Lenovo IdeaPad 530S: Detailed Review

Some twelve years ago, when the James Bond film franchise hit a period of doldrums, Eon Productions took charge of the matter by rebooting the entire series with Casino Royale and injecting the film with a fresh stream of maturity and classiness. A reboot of this sort, I believe,  has taken place with Lenovo’s current generation of IdeaPads.

Launched in 2015, the 500 series of IdeaPads calls itself a range of ‘Powerful Multimedia Laptops’. And with the most recent addition, the Lenovo IdeaPad 530S, I believe Lenovo design has matured by a large margin.
