Vizio SmartCast Crave 360 speaker review : Great features, but mediocre sound

A street price below $155 makes this speaker a steal, provided you can tolerate its acoustic shortcomings.

Kết quả hình ảnh cho Vizio SmartCast Crave 360

Vizio is known for making great TVs that don’t cost all that much. Now the price-for-performance king is looking to disrupt the audio market in the same way, with a series of powered speakers that play music over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB media, and even hardwired ethernet. The SmartCast Crave 360 reviewed here is a good effort if you’re looking for something to play background music, but it doesn’t evoke the visceral excitement that audio enthusiasts crave.

As you’ve probably surmised from its name, you can “cast” audio from any mobile or computer app that supports Google’s Chromecast audio technology over your Wi-Fi network to any of the speakers in the SmartCast lineup. You can cast the same or different music to each speaker, but I didn’t get to test that aspect of Vizio’s offerings because the company sent only the Crave 360 for this review.

Here One review : Augmented sound like you’ve never heard it before

With Here One, the hearable has truly arrived. Sound quality is surprisingly good, the earbuds don’t draw attention to themselves, the augmented audio features are awesome, and it’s a nice way to interact with Siri et al. It’s just a shame the battery lets it down, because chances are that when you pop these in, you’ll have few other reasons to take them out again.

Here One

Every once in a while, I try a new piece of technology that genuinely blows me away. The first time I strapped on an Oculus Rift; my first experience with a self-driving car. My debut outing with Doppler Labs’ Here Ones earns a place on that list too.

The Here Ones, an update to the Here Active Listening hearable we reviewed last year, are a pair of noise-cancelling smart earphones that manipulate and augment the way you hear the world. While we were impressed by Doppler’s Here Active Listening, there was a big limitation: they didn’t play music. Here One changes that with support for audio over Bluetooth, along with more useful ways to filter noise and the ability to let you interact with Siri and Google Now voice assistants.

Chuwi HI13 vs Chuwi HI12 Comparisons Review

Chuwi is a well known company. They are very good and is a very good buy. Today we are going to see 2 of the latest models chuwi presented to us, Chuwi Hi13 and Chuwi Hi12. We have presented both tablets here at igeekphone in the past, but not is time to compare them and see who is going to win! So let the best Chuwi win!

Design

Chuwi HI13 is a 13-inch tablet and as such is certainly not the product that you wanted if you were looking for something extremely portable. But that said the work done by Chuwi for this tablet is still very good, considering the fact that the tablet itself has an important hardware and standard USB ports. The thickness is contained in only 34.65 x 22.95 x 1.76 cm and is instead the weight 1.6000 kg to be heard and to make a product HI13 “important.”

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Review : Road to Recovery

While we’re all waiting for the next iteration Samsung’s flagship device, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, the Korean brand has already released its first batch of smartphone for the year in its A series. Officially debuting at CES 2017 earlier this year, the A series was given a feature that was almost only seen in flagship devices — water and dust resistance. Now that we’ve had time with the big brother of the A series, it’s time to let you guys know what we think about the device and if it’s worth your hard earned moolah. Before we jump into the review, here’s another look at the spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017).

Looks Similar to the Galaxy S7

Samsung has always tried to strike a balance with the A series, offering smartphones that could rival flagship devices in terms of design, and the best hardware possible to give a quality experience without breaking the bank. The A7 (2017) certainly fits the bill and, in our opinion, looks much better than last year’s offerings. It’s been given curvier edges and rounded corners than the previous model and looks more like the Samsung Galaxy S7.

First Look Review : Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9 cine lens

The new Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9 cine lens is the first of the company’s new line of ‘MK’ series Fujinon lenses aimed at the ’emerging production’ market. These lenses are designed to meet the needs of cinematographers who require features generally found on cinema lenses, who often work in the Super 35 format, and can’t justify the cost of lenses costing tens of thousands of dollars more than their cameras.

First look: Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9 cine lens

According to Fujifilm, the MK lenses are basically a smaller version of its Cabrio series of cinema lenses, which typically cost $20,000 or more. The two lens lines share the same coatings and general mechanical design for moving lenses and groups. Between the 18-55mm and the already-announced MK50-135mm lens, the MK line covers the very useful 18-135mm range for Super 35 shooters.

5 Things you need to know about the 2018 Lexus LC

The 2018 Lexus LC is without question the most gorgeous car to ever emerge from the Japanese luxury brand’s design center – and it’s also the first time Lexus has made a full-size sports coupe available in the United States since the more modest SC debuted in the 1990s. Motivated by your choice of V8 (5.0-liters, 471 horsepower) or hybrid (V6 + electric motors) power, the LC 500 and LC 500h are two distinctly different takes on the same grand touring concept.

Fitbit smartwatch investigation : Fitbit is hell bent on building an Apple Watch rival

Experts and insiders tell us what to expect – but is Fitbit missing a trick?

Fitbit is definitely building a ‘proper’ smartwatch. In case the clues of the acquisitions of not one but two smartwatch makers – Pebble and Vector – last year weren’t enough, we have it from Fitbit CEO James Park’s mouth. “We believe we are uniquely positioned to succeed in delivering what consumers are looking for in a smartwatch: stylish, well-designed devices that combine the right general purpose functionality with a focus on health and fitness,” Park said in a press release at the end of January.

So there it is. But what kind of smartwatch are we talking about? There were a couple of clues but not much to go on. So we turned to experts and industry insiders (some of who asked to remain anonymous) to help us figure out what to expect – and what not to expect.

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Guide

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum ($80) is one of the best gaming mice you can buy, partially because there’s so much you can do with it.

Dell Latitude 7280 Review

A great ultraportable business notebook needs several key components, including speed, security, durability and endurance. The 12-inch Dell Latitude 7280 (tested at $1,830; starting at $1,029) has all of the above, thanks to its 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and impressive battery life. Design: The Right (Soft) Touch

The Latitude 7280’s black magnesium-alloy chassis is thin and nondescript, with a glowing-white power-indicator light on the front edge. The soft-touch paint used on the lid and deck gives the chassis a good feel and makes it easy to grip.

2017 Ducati Supersport: 7 Things You Didn’t Know

Motorcycle.com is on the ground at the 2017 Ducati Supersport and Supersport S intro in Seville, Spain, where Troy “Trizzle” Siahaan will get to ride Ducati’s latest creation both on the street and on the Circuito Monteblanco. Expect Troy’s review in a few day’s time, but while you’re waiting, here are seven things you didn’t know about Ducati’s Not-Quite-A-Panigale sporty-bike.

1. Putting the Sport In Sport-Tourer

2017 Ducati Supersport with bags

According to Paolo Quattrino, Product Manager for the Supersport, Ducati doesn’t see the Supersport as an entry-level Panigale. Instead, Ducati sees the newest Supersport as one that leans heavily on the sportier end of the sport-touring spectrum. Ducati reasons those who prefer more touring than sport can opt for the Multistrada, but until now the company had no answer for those wanting the inverse. Oddly, Quattrino also notes Ducati does not see the Supersport as a revival of the eponymous model from a decade ago.

Epson EH-TW6700 review

If a projector is a bridge between the big-screen spectacle of the cinema, and the comfortable familiarity of the home, then Epson’s EH-TW6700 straddles the gap perfectly.

Features

The spec sheet for the EH-TW6700 is roughly in line with what we’ve seen from other Epson products at this price.

It has a 1080p chip with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a brightness of 3000 lumens, and a claimed contrast ratio of 70,000:1.

It will give you a 100in image from 3m away, whether that is in 2D or 3D, with a maximum image size of 300in.

BMW 5-Series (2017) review: Saloon car perfection?

The last-generation BMW 5 Series sold more than two million units worldwide. Two million. To put that into perspective: between 2010 and 2015 Porsche built just over two million cars in total, across its entire range.

It is, therefore, not hard to see why the latest 5 Series (codenamed G30) is such an important car for BMW. And it’s not hard to see why the company has sold so many, given just how good it is.

The 5 Series’ legacy is huge, as is the weight of expectation placed on the shoulders of the latest Munich-made executive saloon. After all, how do you follow a smash hit like the F10 generation?

Well, in typically Teutonic fashion, the new BMW 5 Series has been optimised in each and every area. The engineers leaving neither nut nor bolt unturned in their pursuit for saloon car perfection, and the end result suggests their fastidious work has paid off.

Creative Sound BlasterX Katana review : The soundbar finally makes its way to PCs

Tired of all the clutter on your desk? Creative’s Sound BlasterX Katana brings the soundbar to the PC. Big sound, small form factor, and one eye-popping price tag.

Considering the burgeoning popularity of soundbars in living room setups, it’s surprising they’re mostly missing in action on the PC side of things. By and large, the PC has stuck to 3.5mm input dual-speaker systems, occasionally with a subwoofer included. It’s strange for a few reasons:

1) Unlike TVs, monitors rarely ever come with built-in speakers.

2) Most dedicated PC speakers are terrible.

Jam Classic 2.0 review

The Jam Classic 2.0, so says its maker, is an updated version of the number one-selling Bluetooth speaker in the US.

That said, there is a train of thought that coming first in the US ain’t quite what it used to be.

But let’s switch thought trains; we’ve got a little, inoffensive speaker to talk about here.

Build

And teeny it is. About the size of one of the bigger jars of Marmite, it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and, when it comes to packing for trips, it’ll pop into even the teeniest of overnight bags.

Its spherical form, though, is not hugely pocket-friendly – you’d risk it bouncing out of an unsecured jacket pocket, and a jean pocket is no place for something of this shape and size.
