Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM lens patented in Japan

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM lens patented in Japan

Posted on April 11, 2016October 24, 2018 By Jarvis

Sigma has patented a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM telephoto zoom lens in Japan designed for full-frame digital SLR cameras.

The lens in the patent application has a focal range between 70 and 300mm which is ideal for action and sports photography.

This means the Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM lens is in development and will be added to the company’s Sports or Contemporary lineup. The telephoto zoom lens will probably replace the existing 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG APO Macro model.
