Tag Heuer Connected: Android Wear gets its luxury tag — First Impressions

Tag Heuer took to the stage in New York today to pull the covers off the Tag Heuer Connected, with Jean-Claude Biver, CEO, saying that it was the “marriage of Watch Valley and Silicon Valley”.

The watch comes as the result of a partnership between Tag Heuer, Intel and Google, and sees a traditional a Swiss Watch company launching its first connected watch. Intel is also working with Fossil, so this is the start of a new trend, pushing Android Wear into places we’ve not yet seen.

But how far removed is this from the likes of the Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane or Moto 360? Priced at £1,100/$1,650, it’s a fair distance in price, but what else?
