UPDATE, Sept. 13, 1:45PM ET: You might want to wait before updating to iOS 10, as we’re seeing reports of the update bricking devices from within and outside of the Tom’s Guide offices.

Now that iOS 10 is out, it’s time to give your iPad the gifts of animations, stickers and apps in Messages, the ability to delete apps you never use and the new Home app for smart home automation. Notifications are now more interactive, allowing you to do more from the lock screen.ipad

So if those features leave you itching to upgrade, we’ve got everything you need to get iOS 10 onto your tablet. You won’t even need to plug it into a computer, though we recommend you make sure you’re backed-up and ready first.
