Built upon a 14 nm process, it runs at 3.10 GHz base frequency and a maximum speed of 4.10 GHz. For the purposes of this juxtaposition, we have decided to compare the performance of the two chips found in Dell XPS 15 9575 and Dell Inspiron 5770 respectively. Looking at the charts above, Intel Core i7-8705G shows around 24% better results when it comes to 3D rendering (tested with Cinebench 15). On top of that, it is also 7% faster in the Adobe Photoshop test compared to Intel Core i7-8550U.
