This McLaren 720S celebrates the F1 GTR’s historic win at Le Mans

British supercar maker McLaren has debuted the 720S Le Mans. This limited-edition model celebrates McLaren’s historic win at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. McLaren is only making 50 examples of the 720S Le Mans with base prices starting at $285,600 (£254,500).

For the money, you get a ‘standard’ McLaren 720S and its magnificent 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 motor. Churning out 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels, the 720S is as bonkers as a supercar should be. Connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, the 720S can shift to 60 mph in 2.7-seconds or less.
