Popular mid-size SUV gets AEB as standard across the range – almost, for a price

Hyundai has added more safety equipment to its updated 2020 Tucson range, but some models still miss out on autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and the cheapest variants are now about $1000 more expensive.

When the facelifted MY19 Hyundai Tucson was launched last August, new features included AEB as standard for the two most expensive model grades – Elite and Highlander – but auto-braking remained optional for automatic versions of the entry-level Go and Active X variants and unavailable for manual versions.
