Xbox Series X: Everything we know about Microsoft’s upcoming console

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s next generation console, as it’s set to go head to head with the PS5 later this year with powerful specs, varied games and a number of exciting new features we’re keen to discover for ourselves. 

While we already knew a great deal about the design and specification, Microsoft had previously been reluctant to share much information regarding the game lineup. Fortunately, the recent Xbox Games Showcase gave us a far better look at what games will be heading to the platform.

Microsoft confirmed new Fable and Forza Motorsport games will be heading to the next-gen console, as well as State of Decay 3, Stalker 2 and Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed, which looks very similar to Skyrim. Most exciting of all, we finally saw some gameplay footage of Halo Infinite, which looks to offer open-world exploration as well as some tried-and-true action-packed gunplay.
