Microsoft has officially confirmed the existence of (and release date for) the Xbox Series S, a more affordable next-gen alternative to the Xbox Series X console.
The official Xbox Twitter account revealed the very first image of the upcoming console, while also confirming it will cost a very affordable £249.99 ($299). We’ve now also learned the specs for the next-gen console, with Microsoft confirming it will feature the same CPU as the more expensive Series X but with a less powerful GPU under the hood.
