Android 12 is well and truly on the way since Beta 5 has just been released, making it the last one before the official launch. Google finally showed off some of the major new features and design updates at Google I/O 2021, and Android 12 could represent the biggest update to the OS in a while.

We’re not expecting Android 12 to be released to the public until around late September or early October, but with the beta testing period more or less done, the preview versions of the OS are available to brave users and developers who want to install it, provided they have an eligible phone.
