LG Gram 14Z90N Laptop Review: Lightweight at the Cost of Performance

Under 1 kg. Larger than a Dell XPS 13 but at least 200 grams lighter, the 14-inch LG Gram 14Z90N is one of the lightest subnotebooks you can find with a U-class Core i7 CPU. Expect some steep compromises along the way in regards to performance.

Announced late last year, the 2020 LG Gram 14Z90N directly succeeds the 2019 Gram 14Z980 by refreshing the chassis design while updating the processor options. The Gram family prioritizes weight above all else and so it consists of some of the lightest Ultrabooks you can find from the 13.3-inch Gram 13Z980 all the way up to 17.3-inch Gram 17Z990.
