Smart watch faces and better workouts: What’s new in watchOS 4

Apple’s 2017 Worldwide Developer Conference has seen a flurry of new announces for watchOS 4. There are brand new watch faces, new fitness features and a whole new way to interact with your favorite gym equipment.

All of these new features will hit your Apple Watch this fall, when watchOS 4 is live for the public. We’ve got a long way until then to go, and we’ll no doubt learn about other new features Apple just didn’t have the time to talk about on stage.

Smart watch faces and better workouts: What's new in watchOS 4

The Apple Watch is getting three new Watch faces and one new complication. The Siri face uses machine learning to tell you the things you need to know in a vertical carousel. For instance, if you’ve got a meeting in another city there’ll be a little box telling you how long it takes to get there.
