The Garmin Forerunner 745 is basically a Garmin Forerunner 945 Lite. That means it’s a high quality GPS triathlon watch with all of Garmin’s features and technology for endurance sportsmen. The only chink in the armor is the relatively short battery life, the absence of topographical maps, and the lack of a golf mode (if it had these things, it would actually be a FR945).
