McLaren confirms that it is no longer working with OnePlus

McLaren has just acknowledged that its partnership with OnePlus has ended. The company doesn’t explicitly state why the nearly two-year-old endeavor came to an end and hopes that it can work with OnePlus in the future. OnePlus still might release a limited-edition version of its upcoming flagship later in the year, though.

Themed smartphone releases are something we’ve seen a lot of lately. Some of the notable examples include Huawei’s Porsche Design phones, Galaxy Note 10 Plus Star Wars Edition, and OnePlus’ McLaren Design series. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see any more McLaren-themed from OnePlus, as both companies appear to have parted ways.
