LG killed the G-series of smartphones to introduce the Velvet lineup. The LG Velvet received a good reception from critics and users. Now that LG has shut down its phone business, there will never be a successor edition for the Velvet. Even though LG is not making new phones, a live shot of the canceled Velvet 2 Pro had appeared online and it was later reported that the company is selling final units of the unreleased Velvet 2 Pro and LG Rollable to its employees.
