iPhone 13 Pro’s 120Hz display has a problem — but a fix is coming

The iPhone 13 Pro’s ProMotion display is struggling with some third-party apps, but a fix is imminent.

We’re big fans of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 120Hz ProMotion displays, but it seems the new feature is suffering from a few teething problems.

As spotted by 9to5Mac, the 120Hz ProMotion display isn’t performing as expected on some third-party apps, with software sometimes reverting to 60Hz on animations. Fortunately, Apple is aware of the issue and says a fix is coming soon — although there’s no exact timeframe given.
