Huawei Mate 40 could beat the iPhone 12 in one key area

According to a new report, Huawei will introduce a new chip to the Mate 40 series that will be a truly groundbreaking step forward.

It has been reported that Huawei’s 2020 flagship will run on the Kirin 1000 chipset, the brand’s first to be built on the 5nm process. Though this rumour is in its early stages, surfacing just weeks after the Huawei Mate 30 Pro was unveiled, it does tally with our expectations. This leap forward would represent a breakthrough for performance and efficiency, but the question is: can Huawei get there before Apple?
