The first Nvidia “partner card” RTX 3080 Ti we’ve tested, Zotac’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti AMP HoloBlack graphics card ($1,699 MSRP) effectively mirrors the chipmaker’s recently released GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition ($1,199) in performance. But its considerably larger size and colossal price will give everyone in today’s Wild West gaming card marketplace pause, even at a time when it’s hard to shock GPU buyers. Like the Founders Edition, the HoloBlack suffers from a fundamental problem: tricky justification for the money.
