iMac 2020: Release date, price, specs and features

The Apple iMac 2020 is now available to buy, featuring high-end specs, a new screen option and improved 1080p web cam.

Apple’s new desktop looks to have had a significant upgrade for 2020 then, especially with the 10th Gen Intel Core Processor and AMD Radeon Pro 5000 Series GPU providing a Pro-level performance. Unfortunately, all of the new upgrades (besides the increased SSD options) are exclusive to the 27-inch iMac, leaving the cheaper 21.5-inch model in the dust.

However, the long-rumoured iMac redesign did not come to fruition, with rumours suggesting Apple is holding the makeover back for when it introduces its own Apple Silicon processor to the range in 2021. The impending arrival of this machine also casts doubts whether the new Intel-powered iMac is worth the investment.
