Affordable but cheap
The Gateway 14.1-inch Ultra Slim Notebook (yes, that’s its real name) is an attempt at a solid all-around laptop for a cheap price. It gets the cheap part right, that’s for sure.
I won’t completely discredit it. For $479 (originally $699), the Gateway offers solid performance, thanks to its 10th Gen Core i5 CPU, a colorful design, and a decent pair of speakers.
