Could the MacBook Pro 2021 be announced today?

A new MacBook Pro 2021 is expected to launch before the end of the year, featuring a boosted Apple Silicon performance, Mini LED screen upgrade and the introduction of a new 14-inch model. 

While Apple is hosting a ‘Spring Loaded Event‘ later today, the MacBook Pro is not expected to make an appearance, with the iPad Pro 2021, Apple AirTags and iMac 2021 rumoured to take the spotlight instead.
