Summary: Acer did an excellent job with this redesigned Predator Helios 300 PH315-52, pretty much creating a new laptop from scratch, with a smaller form-factor, latest generation hardware and most of the modern features potential buyers expect in a gaming computer in 2019. Its performance and thermals depend on the fast spinning and loud fans, though, and the lacks in the IO and battery life departments might also steer some users way, but I expect these quirks to be compensated by an aggressive pricing policy which should make this notebook one of the more popular options in its niche, much like the previous Helios 300 lineups of the last years.
