Without a prepped surface, the Demon can’t hold a candle to the Porsche’s phenomenal launch control.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is the ultimate factory drag car. With an 840-hp supercharged V-8, drag slicks, and even a trans brake, it has all the hardware needed to smoke the competition. But as we can see from this latest drag race video, it can’t exactly perform at its best without a sticky, prepped drag surface.
