Cadillac’s latest 3-series competitor will be featured in a series of ASMR videos building up to its debut at the 2019 New York auto show.

  • The 2020 Cadillac CT5 sedan is being revealed online with trendy autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) content, designed to trigger viewers’ senses.
  • The new model, built on an evolution of the brand’s Alpha architecture, looks to appeal most to the senses of Audi A4, BMW 3-series, and Mercedes-Benz C-class buyers.
  • The first of four videos in Cadillac’s first “digital reveal” features black-and-white camouflage created by visual artist Darel Carey.

Reinvention is a complex business, and Cadillac is using a variety of tactics to reinvigorate the brand and connect with customers who have lived the majority of their adult lives in the digital age. Its latest approach revolves around—surprise!—the internet, specifically the Cadillac YouTube channel, where the new 2020 Cadillac CT5 sedan will first meet the public.
