Porsche Cayenne Will Reportedly Offer an EV Variant

Production on the Macan EV is starting in 2022, and now it seems Porsche’s larger SUV is also going electric in the near future.

Porsche’s upcoming electric-vehicle offensive will include an EV spinoff of the Cayenne SUV, according to a report from Autoweek. It will follow the upcoming electric version of the smaller Macan SUV, which will start production in 2022. The Cayenne EV (illustrated above) would likely arrive a few years later, possibly in 2024.
