Ford Australia says it remains committed to the Ford Endura, but won’t confirm whether the SUV will receive the same significant tech upgrade revealed overnight for its US sister model, the Ford Edge.
Australia’s Ford Endura and North America’s Ford Edge are both produced in Canada – the sole production source of the five-seat right-hand drive diesel version sold here and in Europe.
A larger seven-seat version is built in China only for local consumption.
