MPVs are popular with families, so they need to be roomy, practical and robust. We reveal the most – and least – dependable new MPVs

MPVs are relied on to cope with the rigours of family life. As well as having bulletproof interiors with lots of storage space, these cars need to be dependable. That’s where our 2017 Reliability Survey can help.

We asked more than 14,200 people to tell us about any faults their cars had suffered during the past 12 months, how long the problem kept the car off the road and how much they’d had to pay to get it fixed.
