2022 Ferrari 296 GTB hybrid is a supercar of firsts for the Italian icon

The 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB is the first road-going Ferrari to have a V6 engine. In addition, it’s also the first rear-wheel-drive hybrid to wear a prancing horse badge. And we may be pushing it, but we think the latest 296 GTB is the first Ferrari to look the business since Roma’s debut in 2019.

But there’s another first. The 296 GTB is the first hybrid Ferrari not to have an electrified front axle.
