The long wait is over as VW returns its cracking 206TSI R-Line mid-size wagon to Aussie showrooms

It’s been more than two years since the mid-life facelift of the current eighth-generation Volkswagen Passat was shown at the 2019 Geneva motor show, but delays have meant it’s taken until mid-2021 for the full range to become available in Australia. We’ve had the entry-level 140TSI Business sedan on sale since late last year, followed by the Alltrack crossover wagon in April. Regular sedan and wagon models can also be ordered in 162TSI guise.
