Although the Blazer name has long been associated with a rugged, off-road kind of SUV, the current Blazer that debuted two years ago was a reborn urban adventurer. Slotting between the Equinox and 3-row Traverse, the Blazer is a 5-passenger midsize crossover that competes with longtime players like the Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe, Nissan Murano, and, to some degree, the Jeep Grand Cherokee the Subaru Outback.
