The 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT range represents not only what the AMG can do but also where it’s going. This line consists of two 2-seater supercars and a model that’s essentially a sports machine for four people.
The foundation for each of them is all AMG — not a tuned-up version of an existing vehicle from the regular Mercedes-Benz lineup. Not that there’s anything wrong with that approach. After all, it has provided the automotive world with many exciting products.
AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, has evolved to the point where it has its own creations. And those creations are now at a level where they can be credible contenders against the best sports cars out there, such as the ever-awesome Porsche 911.
