2018 Lexus NX pricing and specs : Price rises bring new looks and more safety gear across the range

Lexus has revealed pricing and specifications for the 2018 NX300 and NX300h, bringing new suspension tuning, sharper styling, more standard safety and a front-wheel drive option for F Sport buyers.

The NX engine lineup remains unchanged for 2018. The NX300 (formerly NX200t) is still powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo making 175kW and 350Nm, hooked up to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Claimed fuel economy is 7.7L/100km on the combined cycle, and the SUV hits 100 km/h from a standstill in 7.3 seconds as a front-driver and 7.1 seconds in all-wheel drive trim.

Meanwhile, the NX300h makes do with 147kW and 210Nm from its hybrid powertrain. Coupled with a CVT, it sprints from 0-100km/h in 8.9 seconds and sips 5.7L/100km on the combined cycle.
