Pro photographers and shutterbugs often turn their noses up when it comes to all-in-one zoom lenses. There’s a reason—most don’t set the world on fire, optically, and skimp out when it comes to fit and finish. Tamron is changing hearts and minds with its 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD ($729), available exclusively for Sony camera systems. It couples a sturdy build with very good optical performance, and manages to keep everything small enough to appeal to travel photographers.
