Panasonic Lumix S Pro 50mm F1.4 Review

Introduction

The Lumix S Pro 50mm F1.4 is a very fast standard prime lens for Panasonic’s new Lumix S Series 35mm full-frame mirrorless camera system.

The Panasonic Lumix S Pro 50mm F1.4 features a very bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, a double focus system which combines a linear and stepping motor and operates at 480fps to deliver fast, near-silent autofocusing, 11 rounded diaphragm blades for smoother bokeh, 44mm close-focus distance, a traditional aperture ring and a weather-resistant construction. The lens has 13 elements in 11 groups, including 2 aspherical lenses and 3 ED lenses.
