The rugged Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3 is waterproof to 50ft (15m), shock-proof from 7ft (2.1m), freeze-proof to 14°F (-10°C), crush-proof up to 220 pounds (100kgf) and dust-proof.
The 16 MP high-sensitivity BSI CMOS sensor combined with the high-performance TruePic VI image processor delivers crisp, detailed photos with minimal noise in low light, high-speed autofocus and 5fps burst shooting. The high-speed F/2.0 4x (25-100mm) zoom lens allowing you to capture dramatic shots with low depth of field or reduced blur in low light.
The Tough TG-3 features Focus Stacking Mode automatically taking multiple shots shifting the focus from foreground to background and then merges them to a crisply focused image.
The Microscope Mode lets you magnify a subject up to 44.5x from as close as 1cm. The optional LG-1 Macro Light Guide that attaches around the lens, uses the camera’s built-in LED lamp and illuminates the subject when shooting close-up.
The TG-3 is built-in GPS and e.Compass save your location as data with every shot you take, and even records your route when you’re not shooting. The Landmark information can be displayed and recorded with every shot. The built-in Manometer records elevation and water depth. The built-in Wi-Fi for remote control via smartphone / tablet, or share images / movies to a smartdevice.
