Xbox 2: Gears 5 developer confirms Scarlett will have “dedicated ray tracing hardware”

E3 2019 saw Microsoft finally lift the lid on its next generation console, providing us a brief glimpse at what is currently known as Project Scarlett, or Xbox 2, as we and many others have been calling it. We’re now aware of some specs and features, teasing what is bound to be a goliath of a console. 

Christened with the codename Project Scarlett, an official title and detailed specifications are being held close to Microsoft’s chest for now. A release window of Holiday 2020 has been confirmed with Halo Infinite joining the console as its flagship launch title. But just how powerful is it?
