Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f4 R LM WR Review

Introduction

The Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f4 R LM WR is currently the only zoom lens designed specifically for Fujifilm GFX 50S mirrorless cameras. This wide-angle zoom features a focal range of 25-51mm in 35mm terms, an aperture range of f/4-f/32, 14 elements in 1 groups including 3 aspherical, 1 extra-low and 1 super extra-low dispersion elements, 9 rounded aperture blades, a high-speed linear AF motor, a hydrophobic fluorine coating on the front element to repel moisture, and a dust-, freeze- and weather-sealed physical construction. The Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f4 R LM WR is also able to focus as close as 50/60cm and it takes 77mm filters. The Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f4 R LM WR retails for $2299 / £2149.

Ease of Use

With a maximum diameter of 92.6mm and a length of 145.5mm when zoomed out to 64mm, the Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f4 R LM WR is a wide-normal zoom lens that’s well-suited to the GFX 50S camera that we tested it with. Weighing in at 875g, it’s quite a heavy lens, but proved to be well-balanced on the GFX 50S.
