First iOS app dev center opens in Europe

Apple has announced that it has opened its very first iOS app development center in Europe. The goal of the center is to help students learn how to create apps for the Apple ecosystem of devices. The iOS App Development Center will be located at a partner institution in Naples, Italy.

Apple says that the center will support teachers and offer a specialized curriculum preparing thousands of future developers to be part of Apple’s developer community. Apple also plans to work with partners in Italy to develop training to go along with the curriculum and to create more opportunities for students.
