Sigma has fixed ghosting issues with its 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN lens, is replacing affected lenses

Back in March, Sigma issued a notice on its website informing customers of a potential issue with select units of its 28–70mm F2.8 DG DN lens for Sony E mount and L mount camera systems. Now, Sigma has shared a follow-up notice, confirming it has addressed the issue and will replace affected units, free of charge.

In the initial notice, Sigma said it had ‘become aware of a potential issue with [its] recently released SIGMA 28–70 F2.8 DG DN | Contemporary, which could lead to increased ghosting over time in certain shooting conditions.’
