2021 Chevrolet Suburban Review

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is a truck-based full-size 3-row sport utility vehicle. The Suburban is Chevy‘s largest SUV and is essentially a longer version of the Tahoe with more cargo space.

The Chevrolet Suburban is all new for 2021. This latest generation brings fresh technology, new safety features and updated design inside and out. The Suburban is slightly larger than the Ford Expedition Max and has more interior space. Like the Ford, the Suburban has made the switch to a more sophisticated suspension to improve its ride and handling.

The Chevy differs from the Ford in that it comes with a V8 instead of a turbocharged V6. New for the 2021 Suburban is an optional turbodiesel engine that touts ample torque and promises enhanced fuel efficiency. The Suburban is also among the few mainstream vehicles that can seat up to nine passengers when fitted with a front bench seat. That setup is only available on base models, and most buyers will opt for a 7- or 8-passenger configuration.
